Re: VAR changes
Just reading about this. Looks positive overall
Will be interesting to see how many penalties wouldn't have been given as a result from last season. They have said 20 more goals would have been scored had the proposed changes for offside been given.

Re: VAR changes
Hopefully we can move away from the dumb "well there is contact so he is entitled to go down" type of comments from dickhead commentators

Before people start getting carried away with potential positives I’ve got two words for you.

Re: VAR changes
They still need to get rid of that stupid rule of letting play continue when the attacker is offside

Re: VAR changes
If I had a quid for every time this daft phrase was uttered on MOTD last season I could happily retire.claretonthecoast1882 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 03, 2021 2:38 pmHopefully we can move away from the dumb "well there is contact so he is entitled to go down" type of comments from dickhead commentators

Re: VAR changes
They can't. If we're having reviews for offsides, then potential offsides and non-offsides must all be reviewed. Liners are only needed to give ins and outs now, although that's all most of them have been doing for the last 10 years anyway so nothing new there.
Re: VAR changes
I can understand letting play go on when it's tight but when it's absolutely obvious the flag should go up immediately.quoonbeatz wrote: ↑Tue Aug 03, 2021 8:04 pmThey can't.
