Today's footie 3/8/21
European qualifying action continues this evening.
Rangers face a tricky trip to Malmo in the CL 3rd round qualifying.
Meanwhile 2 Irish sides in Europa Conference League action, again in the 3rd round of qualifying.
Bohemians home to PAOK Salonika of Macedonia.
Linfield home to Fola Esch of Luxembourg.
For those asking about Scotty Arfield, as I suspected he's in the Rangers starting XI, as is John Lundstram.

Shot on target by Arfield, but an easy save for the keeper.
No Morelos in the Rangers squad I note, is he on his way?

Ah! thought that had finished by now, there's plenty of rumours about his future swirling around, but Gerrard is adamant he will be staying, so we'll just have to wait and see what transpires in the next few weeks.Local cricketer wrote: ↑Tue Aug 03, 2021 6:43 pmHe’s isolating after returning from the Copa America
I guess if Rangers do qualify for the CL, he might be persuaded to stick around for another year at least.

I’m presuming he stopped in South America on his jollies after the tournament finished. I’m sure Craig Tara is lovely this time of year but so is the copacabanatiger76 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 03, 2021 6:48 pmAh! thought that had finished by now, there's plenty of rumours about his future swirling around, but Gerrard is adamant he will be staying, so we'll just have to wait and see what transpires in the next few weeks.

Score line from Holland.
PSV 3 Midtjylland (who dumped Celtic out last week) 0.
I rest my case your honour, Scottish footy is pants.

A lifeline for Rangers, scoring in the 95th minute to only lose 2-1, and yet another assist for Ryan Kent, we should be in for that boy, he'd be a great addition to our ranks.

Bohemians won 2-1, but Linfield lost 2-1, so both ties still in the balance ahead of the return legs away from home.

Olympiacos with a late equaliser against Ludogarets. I believe the owner has been credited with the assist
