Only a month ago I wrote about him signing for Bamber Bridge, now a contract in the Championship for Jamie Thomas

I have to admit I've never heard of him, however that's some deal for the lad, and best of luck to him at PNE.

Fantastic for the lad, looks to have worked his socks off, and there’s definitely a very good player in there from the footage I’ve seenClaretTony wrote: ↑Thu Aug 05, 2021 8:23 pmOnly a month ago I wrote about him signing for Bamber Bridge, now a contract in the Championship for Jamie Thomas

He must have put in quite a performance in that friendly v PNE. A bit like Darikwa when we played Chesterfield in a pre season friendly

His family live not far from me, proper wrong ones, even as a youth player they played the billy big balls, hopefully he does something, but somehow I think he will think he has made it again and stop trying

Re: ARTICLE: Thomas lands Preston deal
Joined us in 2016 but went to Ayr on loan almost immediately. I think he made just a few sub appearances for them before coming back. He did have a go back at Bolton a couple of years ago but was another young player who I'd lost in terms of where he was. It was only when he signed for Bamber Bridge that I found he'd been at AFC Blackpool.
But good luck to the lad, one good friendly performance, followed by a successful trial and he's landed himself a deal.

One big difference though. Darikwa was only moving up one division at the time.warksclaret wrote: ↑Thu Aug 05, 2021 8:31 pmHe must have put in quite a performance in that friendly v PNE. A bit like Darikwa when we played Chesterfield in a pre season friendly

He played and scored for Preston in their friendly at Accrington the other week.I mentioned it at the time.
Re: ARTICLE: Thomas lands Preston deal
He might get a chance this season, their top scorer last season was Scott Sinclair who plays on the wing.
