Re: BPF!!!
I think part of the problem BPF is that the Burnley team are used to keepers who have been around for years and expect certain things at certain times, that he was not prepared for which made everyone edgy.
Without those expectations with a different club he’s showing why we bought him. Hopefully his confidence restored he can still have a future with us… and hopefully get Wednesday a much needed boost to boot.

Re: BPF!!!
Heard on the radio that he also saved a penalty today.
Re: BPF!!!
Hope he has a fantastic season for Weds. He's certainly made a great start - their fans have described him as immense so far, and they hope they have the option to buy.
His penalty save is well worth a watch if you get chance.

His start for Sheffield Wednesday has been excellent, pleased for the lad, he was judged really harshly by many on here

Fine start for Bailey at Wednesday, and these performances and clean sheets can only do his confidence a world of good.

Talking to a couple of Weds fans I know yesterday and, the love him.
They reckon he's given their squad a lot of confidence.

And for all you know neither will BFC be next season.
Best hope he turns out to be a fine asset to the club, I'd say.

Re: BPF!!!
We produce good gk’s & defenders hence Collins signature
We produce not much going forward hence albrighton rejection hence Cornett hesitation
A good season at Burnley means defenders and gk’s get the recognition they need anyone else probably not

Re: BPF!!!
If true, surely that's down to our coaching. He's been at the club two years and if he's to get in this current Burnley team he has to play the Burnley way. If he can't do that he's not the goalkeeper for us.elwaclaret wrote: ↑Sat Aug 21, 2021 3:31 pmI think part of the problem BPF is that the Burnley team are used to keepers who have been around for years and expect certain things at certain times, that he was not prepared for which made everyone edgy.

Albrighton signing another deal at Leicester
Cornett still not signed We secured premier league safety 3 months ago
Collins deal went through soon enough cause we defend a lot.

Bump just for longsidejono to remind him to provide the crucial evidence either have turned us down (obviously I’m pretty smug about the Cornett one)

Albrighton signed a new deal at his current club which means he turned us down
Cornet has been linked for weeks, if you was offered your ‘dream’ job or opportunity that you’ve always wanted it shouldn’t be so difficult - hesitation

Albrighton signing a new deal doesn’t mean he turned us down! There is still no evidence that Burnley wanted him, enquired about him or made a bid for him to turn us down!!!Longsidejono wrote: ↑Mon Aug 30, 2021 12:10 pmAlbrighton signed a new deal at his current club which means he turned us down

Again Cornett “linked” doesn’t mean anything official was agreed between the 2 clubs. As I understand a fee was only agreed late last week.
