Re: Vigil- BBC-Sunday night
watched the first four episodes hoping it was going to improve but it hasn't. i won't bother with the last two.
it's so predictable it's verging on cliche.

If it's so predictable, please tell us what is going to happen in the final two episodes.

Re: Vigil- BBC-Sunday night
Some people will continue to watch it just to find out who from the crew is rogue doing all the sabotaging, some parts are predictable such as surrane Jones having incidents without her meds suffering from some form of claustrophobia, I expect a few more of them before the curtains close.
Re: Vigil- BBC-Sunday night
I watched episode 4 and 5 yesterday and overall find it quite good.
Apparently, the final episode has a 'shocking' twist, so might as well watch the final episode.

I thought some of those Scandinavian crime offerings went on a bit, but this one takes the biscuit.

The old toupe tape working well in that pic phew!!!!!!
Re: Vigil- BBC-Sunday night
Looking forward to the final episode. Not every minute of a six episode series are perfect but this is very enjoyable Could have been better with jokes about sardines, and tin cans.

I thought the last episode was really well written, nicely tightening everything up for the finale on Sunday.
So to speak.

A disappointing last episode. Nothing really happened that couldn’t have been wrapped up in 5 minutes.

I thought it was quite a decent conclusion to an excellent series.
You could level the "5 minutes wrapping up" criticism at most dramas if you think about it.
You'd still be wrong, mind.

Re: Vigil- BBC-Sunday night
Utter utter tosh. All over the shop, no dramatic tension must have cost a bomb to make. I watched all 6 episodes coz Mrs Trumpet thought it was ok. Waste of my eyes’ time
Re: Vigil- BBC-Sunday night
I thought it was reasonable. Possibly a 7 out of 10, but not sure it's something I'd suggest people watch if they haven't yet seen it.
There was talk of a series 2, but now sure how that one would work.

Re: Vigil- BBC-Sunday night
I liked the series but it was an odd decision to end the story halfway through the finale.
Re: Vigil- BBC-Sunday night
Perhaps the Submarine story part ended 1/2 way but they used the last 20minutes or so to tie up storylines ... rather than have people speculate on the outcomes of relationships and characters as happens in other series ... I prefer that than just end it with the bad guy caught and the credits rollclaret2018 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 27, 2021 1:08 pmI liked the series but it was an odd decision to end the story halfway through the finale.

Yes, I was expecting another twist - after they all got on the helicopter.claret2018 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 27, 2021 1:08 pmI liked the series but it was an odd decision to end the story halfway through the finale.
