Summed it up in one sentence GD ... it also puts tickets automatically in your basket ... with the option to change age categories etc etc if required.
Yesterday when I was trying to purchase just 3 Everton tickets, without Rochdale having not even appeared on my screen, it automatically put (in addition to the Everton tickets) Rochdale tickets into my basket for everyone in my Friends and Family!

Oh no it doesn't, it fills it in now with my partners clarets number and, at the risk of repeating myself, wants to charge her £10. There is no option to change it - only to delete it ! Presumably because it's linked to her clarets number.

They also send an email of your purchase, so I'd advise printing it off and taking it with you, in case there is a problem with your season card.
Always do GD 🙂

I have 2 others in my friends and family and it chooses, seemingly quite randomly, to not put them in my basket !!!

That's a good thing because they can't attend. :D

I can only say what my friends and family tickets do on the site FD ... you obviously are having problems with something that a lot of us don't have ... hope you get it sorted...

I find if I don't log in on the site before accessing the ticketing part it throws problems at me ... so I advise on logging in 1st. As I said it automatically loads tickets into my basket and can delete the ones not wanted.

Surely we have a somewhat bigger support than Rochdale .How many did they get for their last home game ?
We do, yet only managed 11k against Leeds in this comp so you could argue the ground it 2 times too big for us.

Had we drawn Blackburn and they used the 10% rule we would be complaining

Doesnt the away section (now plastic seated) contain over 2200 seats ... hence meeting requirements of 10% ground capacity

I've had the same issues as a few have already mentioned. Four tickets in my basket, two with incorrect prices.

I've called the ticket office, gave them the clarets numbers and was told she could see that they were the wrong age category, so she'd change them. Was asked to log out and try later when it should be fixed. Nothing yet but fingers crossed. I'll let you know if it fixes itself from here but I'd give them a ring. 01282 446800, option 2.

Wel, I'm glad some of you are managing tickets for Rochdale game !!!! For me the website is nothing short of a bloody disgrace. I cannot for the life of me order 2 tickets for our own seats in the Bob Lord stand. Just as a starter, the website states that the tickets go on sale on Wednesday 7th September !!!! There is no Wednesday 7th September (not this year anyway). Despite being season ticket holders we don't have "favourite seats " and my partner, who is also a concession, and has her own clarets number, is being charged £10 as opposed to my £5 and I cannot get round that whatever I try.

According to them, the last game we attended was Spurs 7th March 2020 but I distinctly remember going on both the Brighton and Leeds games this very season.

Added to all this I have had to resort going to the ticket office for tickets for the U21 International. OK, there are 13 of us going but, according to the website you can buy this many by using 2 or more clarets numbers. Can you bo11ocks !!!! Well, I couldn't anyway. Credit where it's due, the young girl in the ticket office was very good and sorted it out for us. The poor lass had to go through hoops to sort it. My partner had to show her season ticket card to show that she was a concession. WTF - that shouldn't be.

If you live out of town it must be a nightmare.

I'm going to have to call in again today to sort the Rochdale tickets out. That simply shouldn't be.
My experience when buying four tickets was not quite as bad as yours FD but nonetheless not straightforward. I logged on, clicked on Home Tickets and the Rochdale game and it took me to the Ground Map to select tickets, as per the experience of others on the thread. I tried this 4-5 times with the same end result. I then logged out, clicked on tickets and it took me automatically to my Friends and Family where I was able to buy the four tickets I wanted. In the end I got the tickets but it definitely wasn't as easy as it should be.

Just purchased 6 in literally 2 mins whilst having my dinner. My 2 current season tickets already there in my basket.
Then I added 4 more by choosing the seats I wanted, checked out and they sent me 4 E tickets with QR codes, and said the 2 season cards used have had Rochdale tickets added to the cards.

Easy peasy.

As I said it automatically loads tickets into my basket and can delete the ones not wanted.
The problem with that though is if you have say 20 people in your F and F but a large number of them don't require tickets for a game you can only delete them 1at a time (which can either take ages or you end up being timed out before you've managed to delete them all). It's a most unfriendly ticketing system.

Quick update:
There is no update. My 2x over 65s still show as adults and then they've all disappeared from the basket completely. I called back (took me 6 attempts to get through) to buy over the phone but it's only online or in person. Not sure how me being there rather than on the phone makes a difference but then this is the wisdom of Burnley FC.

I normally presume it's stubborn folk moaning about our ticketing system because I never usually struggle but this is genuinely painful. If I was buying anything else (flight tickets, online shopping etc) then I would have given up by now. Not sure how I'll be able to buy these now without just paying the extra.

It is, at least, a little bit easier for me now. Since they removed all the friends and family, I've only re-added when needed so don't have as many in as I once did. Why the system can't allow you to delete a group I really don't know.

It does, not disputing that.

Lets hope we don't have a sub 12k attendance come match day, or get through this and then get an away tie everybody wants to go to and suddenly expect more than 10%

Re: 2021/22: Burnley v Rochdale – Ticket Information

Post by Funkydrummer » Thu Sep 09, 2021 4:52 pm

Quick update - the young girl sorted us 2 tickets for the Rochdale match in the twinkling of an eye.
When we explained what had been happening she said that the powers that be are aware of several
problems and were,at that very moment, having a meeting to try and sort it.

In the meatime, having ordered 13 tickets for the U21 international, I received an email with 13
QR codes that were featured on the main body of the email. Included in the email were 26 (yes 26 !!!!)
downloads, 13 as PNG's and 13 as PDF's non of which included any indication whatsoever as to the type of
ticket ie adult, concession or child. There are 7 adults, 2 concessions and 4 children

So, whilst in the ticket office I asked for advice as surely they weren't expecting me to stand at the
turnstile clocking each one of them in and expect the operator to keep tabs on who and what tariff
had gone through. The poor lass had to disappear into the back to get the advice which is as follows,
and I kid you not :- "Please send an email to the ticket office and request paper tickets and they will be
sent to you in the post" to which I replied "are you not able to print them off now and save all the pratting about ?"

Sorry no !!! Poor lass was embarrassed and at a loss as to an explanation as to why nearly everything the club
does ticket wise goes t!t$ up for a lot of people.

I never ceased to be amazed at the club's incompetence who leave it to the front line staff to sort out and
potentially take all the flak.

Somebody needs a bomb up the derriere, and pretty smartish IMO.

Cheers Bodge, glad it all worked out for you.

Hope you never have to suffer the anguish and heartache that can accompany buying tickets from BFC. :D :o

Long live the ticket office staff, god bless them.

How you would go on from out of town I don't know.

Or, as I've suggested to the Club but it seems to have fallen on deaf ears, there's a tick box against each of your F and F entries and then you would just tick the ones who you want tickets for.

Was the difficulty in obtaining tickets mentioned as a possible reason for our poor gates this season on the recent thread discussing that issue ? ( apologies if it was ) Buying tickets to matches ought to be absolutely straightforward and I'm amazed our American ownership aren't all over this.

I know a couple of people who have given up trying to buy tickets because of the
shameful fiasco in trying to achieve a result.

I'll bet they are not a small minority either. Lost revenue for the sake of a good IT guy.

You can if you complete the application forms in triplicate, in advance, and submit them to an
official 2 hours before kick off along with your passport, proof of covid vaccinations and display
any old QR code on your newly acquired current season's home shirt that has been signed by any member
of the under 23 squad that doesn't feature a betting logo.

Failing that, go and watch Padiham. I've just about had my fill of match tickets for one day.

I did warn you. I said you shouldn't have had that cosmetic surgery. :D :D

Tried to add my sons friend as "friend and family" after I'd already purchased our 6
Nothing appeared, it didn't put a ticket in my basket, I went on to the game to try and select the ticket, but nothing.
After an hour messing about I just gave up and thought we would just wait until the seat became unreserved and went on general sale.
However when I fired up the laptop today, I logged on and it was ther waiting for me in my basket.

Again literally took 60 seconds once it was there.

So we are all sorted now.
Anyone else wanting to come with is will hust have to wait for general sale, I doubt itll be full.

This game will be tough .....'the Dale' are playing some football, from what i hear.
Aye, 10th in League Two, with 2 wins from their 6 League games thus far.

Just had this info passed onto me - The Ticket Office are experiencing problems with the website regarding ticketing and the wrong age band being shown automatically in one's basket. They are working on it at this time.

Seems to be a few random bugs in the booking system for different folk..

I logged in to buy 1 ticket for myself in my ST seat, before I could continue it asked me to 'update my profile' so I had to enter all my details again (name address phone number etc etc)

Did it, proceeded to ticket purchase (after deleting the 2 F& F tickets added automatically as they aren't going), it showed £10 in my basket-so all I need to do now is proceed to checkout....erm, not quite...

Clicked 'checkout' it took me back to the 'update your profile page' again (the details I'd entered a few mins ago were still there) and it wouldn't let me proceed without entering something so I just stuck an initial in for my middle name and was finally able to checkout and pay so, got there in the end, but what a phaff.

I got a couple more on general sale this morning - the availability suggests there has been a good take up for this game and should be a very decent crowd on.

On the subject of giving Rochdale the whole cricket field stand to satisfy the demand from their supporters.

Far from being snapped up by their season ticket holders, there are that many left, they are now on general sale to their fans with the one ticket per person now lifted to up to four per person.

Has anybody been able to buy a ticket online in the last 30 minutes ? The game isn’t listed for me just showing Arsenal, Norwich & Brentford.

Don’t the untaken ST seats go on general sale today?
That could be a reason

Though why the system needs to go offline for that to happen is anybody’s guess
