Seeing the new crypto coins from clubs around the world having quite an early jump in price on markets.

Is this something Burnley will end up jumping on board with, especially with the financier backgrounds of ALK etc …

Be interesting to follow and would give exposure globally for sure.

I suggested this in the Fan Survey a couple of months ago.

A currency we can use at Turf Moor and the club shop.

What is wrong with using "cash or card" with the currency we currently have 🤔 at the club shop and Turf Moor

Nothing. But there's definitely a shift towards crypto use. It's not going to be adopted any time soon, but, eventually, crypto will become mainstream.

Online maybe but in the club shop or to buy a 1/2 time Bovril and a 2nd mortgage for a Twix don't think so

Hope not tbh. Could see people easily taken in, not fully grasping the model, and losing out.

Lets not eh?

Our fans moaned when card payments became the norm, imagine the reaction of this.

Bloody hope not there are more crooks operating in crypto-currency than engaged in shop-lifting these days. How many hoax calls are going to come from lists collected from football clubs? How many fans are going to be conned for trusting ‘an agent’ from their club…

And some of them still struggle with gift vouchers.

But isn't that the whole point of crypto currencies? Those who're already 'in' strive - via threads like this one - to encourage others onto their chosen band wagon, thereby increasing the value of their own holding; I'm waiting for something a little more honestly marketed, perhaps one called the Ponzi-Coin or Pyramid-Coin before I invest.
