Only just seen this. Truly disgraceful comments. I really hope we respond in some way because you can’t go making accusations like that against a fellow professional.

It's amazing isn't it, Klopp says we're an overly physical team, Wesley is bleating about an incident that happened 3 years ago, and yet we've just broken the PL record for the number of games without receiving a red card, and are fast nearing 100 games without a sending off.

Interesting they used a “post foul” still on the article. I’d expect the Club’s legal team to be interested in this.

I suspect there are a few legal brains now working on Burnley’s behalf, who the player is or isn’t does not stop there being a serious unfounded accusation against the captain of our football club… and damaging the club’s reputation unjustifiably, at home and worldwide.

Yes,I know,he inherited it off Ironside when he died.

Good tackle by Ben Mee. Took the ball. The issue was Wesley overran the it and then lunged in to the tackle with a straight leg. Similar to the Eliott tackle, entirely unintentional.

To be honest though, he was crap. I don’t know why all the Villa fans complain so much because he was never up to PL standards in a million years and they’d be down now if they’d relied on him for goals.

Totally libellous - they’re describing Wesley as a footballer- there’s no evidence of that
