U18 PL Cup vs Everton
Currently leading 1-0 from a Michael Mellon goal. Everton skied an early penalty.
Been really impressed by what I've seen of Mellon for the U23s, he's been prolific for the U18s so far this season and given the captaincy. Could see him forming a good partnership with Richardson given their complimentary strengths.

Well done to the young 'uns, that's two cup wins in the week and scoring 3 goals in each game ---let's hope that rubs off on the Clarets this afternoon!

An impressive way to mark our debut in this competition, and Mellon to the fore again, that lad certainly has an eye for goal doesn't he.
Tough section with Arsenal, Everton & West Ham, but that's a great start for our youngsters.
