I would prefer to see three new midfielders, our current crop are not up to it.
Agree but doubt Pace has £60m to spend tho!

We had the same problem scoring last season.

After getting 2 against Leicester we only scored 2 in the next 8 matches.
But we were stricken by injuries then, at present just Long and Stephens missing

Well at least we know what our starting line up should be from now on
Most fans knew before the match.

Burnley were the 3rd lowest scoring team in the PL last season which has been well documented on here.

So, what steps did SD take in the transfer window to try and address that problem?

Didn't go for us, but I am delighted Dyche made really positive changes and very early in the 2nd half, it lifted the fans and that 2nd half performance was far better. We really need Wood firing on all cylinders again. He immediately looked better the second Vydra entered the fray.

I thought it was only our defence where we had players missing. And even when they returned we struggled to score with 0-0 against WBA and Brighton.

Playing quite well and getting nowt from a game is worrying especially as it keeps happening.
I’d say playing crap and getting nothing is worse.

Whilst a draw would have been fairer I thought that was v poor Arsenal team that we should have done better against. They looked like a poor PL side like us.
