Westwood has been awful. Vydra and Rodriguez have hardly had a touch.
Odoh for Rochdale has been the best player on the park so far.

Cornet is not match fit. Good from the back and middle but breaking down in the box. Can see Dale sneaking one on the break. No home atmosphere to speak of. Dale fans making noise. Reminds me of us away from home in the 90s.

Doesn’t seem far off. Coms have said he looks sharp and has done good defensive work as well as being lively going forward.

Not sure what you are on about - he’s looked sharper than any other Burnley player.

But we can

Clean sheets are always more important for a team that doesn't score many.

We need to tighten things up and not take too many risks. Try and pinch a winner but at the end of the day if we can hold on and get it to pens then that would be a decent result

Oh! look suddenly Jay gets some service and he bags a HT.
Cornet really looks the real deal, however I will caution we are playing a L2 team.
But it's great he's hit the ground running, and his first couple of appearances bode well for the future.

Jay is now the all time highest Clarets League cup scorer with 11
Was Andy Lochead with 10

They’re against much lower placed opposition, but a hat trick will do Jay the world of good.

Or is it more a reflection on the huge gap between our professional women and the part time do they even qualify as amateur opposition?

Well surely Barnes can't start, and Vydra is seemingly out of favour, so by that logic he should have a strong claim.
