Re: Newcastle takeover
The only clear strategy is to approach/interview as many people as possible until someone accepts. I have a few friends from that way that were cock a hoop recently but a a bit quieter now.
I wonder if that lad from Sunderland has applied?

Re: Newcastle takeover
Seems they've interviewed Mr Howe. I can't see him being able to handle the pressure of the Geordie mob if it starts to go wrong after a few games.
Re: Newcastle takeover
They would be better appointing a manager who has managed top class players and experience of different roles. That wouldn’t be Howe. Martinez maybe more suitable. It doesn’t sound like there is much of a football strategy though other than chucking money at it.

Their new Saudi Arabia inspired away shirt for next season
Joking aside, it's not a bad looking shirt.

Re: Newcastle takeover
I put my Newcastle away shirt in the washing machine and set it to 'Sportswash'. It's supposed to be clean now, but the funny thing is that I still can't get rid of the stench.

Re: Newcastle takeover
More Saudi involvement on the board, but of course they aren't linked to the despotic regime at all, yeah right.

Re: Newcastle takeover
It looks like my boston united third choice kit from about 1992 to be honest. Ground breaking.
Having now checked, the boston united one is nicer.
