Always enjoyed this posters contributions to this forum but not seen any posts for a while.

May have just missed them but hope he's ok?

claretspice? Think he contributes to the player ratings threads (sure he’s on the Norwich one) and tends to avoid the rest of the shenanigans. Perhaps with good reason after tonight!

I too enjoy his contributions.

Cheers Swizzlestick

Don't know what the hecks gone on tonight but it's a shame if it's the kind of thing that puts decent posters off contributing more often.

He's only known as 'Spice' Claret when he's talking about Lancashire's "catchment" area for cricket.

Great poster, but still makes me laugh does that.

Used to enjoy reading his comments on the match day player rating threads although he used to get some stick from some on here.

claretspice is fine. I spoke to him at half time at the Norwich game after which he did the ratings. He’s just somewhat busier than he’d been previously.

Good to hear, claretspice’s player ratings and fulsome comments are always worth a read. A balanced claret unlike some others!

A shining light of articulate logic is spice amidst what can be a tsunami of knee jerk Nigel nonsense after games.

He explained his absence a little while ago, think he said he has his hands full with a young child.

Hopefully he will return more regularly as his opinions are well thought out and add something to the threads he contributes to.

A great contributor to this forum is Claretspice, and I’ve often enjoyed reading his posts.

It’s a pity that he, along with a number of other reasonable and articulate posters, don’t frequent this board as often as they once did.

Another one is EnolaGay. I see he likes the odd post here and there, but that’s about it.

I'd echo all of the above - thoroughly enjoy reading his posts particularly in the player ratings thread after games I can't attend

Spice is a fantastic bloke and a great poster. I also have seen him recently and it was great to catch up, albeit briefly.

Maybe the Wi-Fi signal in Bibi's is not what it once was.

Yep, there are some unbalanced ones, it seems.
