Pathetic play acting from Cornet. I thought our players weren't supposed to do that?

VAR reviewing. Laporte caught Brownhill.
Re: Match Thread: Man City v Burnley
Should be a red that. Out of control lunge studs up.

I’m fine with the yellow. I wanted us to be allowed to play the advantage, though.

We've done pretty well tbf. We've had two very presentable chances which unfortunately we've not taken advantage of. However our poor passing in midfield constantly is letting us down

Re: Match Thread: Man City v Burnley
Would have been a soft penalty, but you see other teams get those decisions every week.
It looks like one of our players needs to be put in hospital before we have a sniff of a penalty

No doubt bring Grealish on to finish us off. Should be level at least

Football Focus lunchtime today discussed Norwich keepers "challenge" on Vydra. Everyone said it should have been a penalty.
Maybe next Saturday, pundits will debate today's game and the penalty's not awarded?

Not even reviewed by VAR?
Was their player even booked for his challenge on McNeil?

Laporte off the ground both feet not in control, seen given as a red many times. To be fair i think Laporte tried to pull out..

We've done well. They look shaky, not like usual.
We didn't collapse yet, but let's see in the second half.

Re: Match Thread: Man City v Burnley
It was not a penalty, more a case of Wood running into the back of the keeper
But Laporte should have been sent off. Led with both feet in the air.

Decent half and caused them a few problems, which we rarely do.
