And they seem to think Souttar is better!! I’d like to see that.
Weren’t we linked with Souttar as well at one point?

Collins did really well and looks a prospect, however I thought that Tarky was our best player today, not just with his performance but also his leadership qualities were excellent.

He was continually talking and dishing out positional instructions to both Pieters and Collins when we were having to withstand intense City pressure.
Having to play away against the champions without your captain is never ideal, but Tarkowski took over that role excellently.

To repeat myself, Collins did really well apart from a couple of loose balls around the edge of our own box, but to say he is better than Ben Mee or Michael Keane is a little premature.
Give the lad time and it may well turn out that way, lets hope so because if he does become better than those two we will have some player on our hands.

We were. I’ve never watched him but know he’s about 6ft6” or something, so an absolute unit.

Definitely a unit but I've been impressed at how good he is with his feet for a big lad.

That’s exactly what I’ve read about him - everyone seems to be saying the same.

Is he a right or left sided CB do you know?

When I've seen Stoke they've played three centre halves with him the middle of the three. If he was to play I a 442 I think he would be right sided CB.

I think it was Souter who played against Burnley in pre-season friendly for Fleetwood a couple of years ago. IMO he was Fleetwood's best player that evening.

I bumped into Collins yesterday at the NFL game in London. Had a quick chat with him...he seems a nice lad (and made me feel bloody old!)
