Today's footie 17/10/21
Swansea 1 Cardiff 0 in the big Welsh derby.
Screamer of a finish from Jamie Paterson.

Re: Today's footie 17/10/21
Swansea 3 Cardiff 0, surely Mick McCarthy can't survive this result, 6 defeats on the spin for The Bluebirds now, and they've been awful.
Re: Today's footie 17/10/21
Wow Cardiff are abysmal. 5 centre halves and 2 defensive mids. Not a pass to feet in sight.
Swansea on the other hand look to be trying to recreate their possession-based style. They’ve been good today.

Re: Today's footie 17/10/21
Dominant win for Swansea, showed a shot of Cardiff fans singing "You're getting sacked in the morning".
Ethan Laird on loan from United played really well today. I thought he looked good when playing against us last season for Franchise and seems able to step up to Championship level.
Approaching half time at Goodison, 0-0 so far but West Ham have been on top.

One nil to West Ham, Pickford cocks up to give a corner away, from West Ham score.

Only a rumour but heard that he's taking the P after falling out with the owners.

Hammers win 1-0, big 3 points for them to get them back on track.
Everton lacking a cutting edge, not surprising given their 2 main strikers are out injured.

Would be good if Sky could at least interview some supporters who weren't intellectually challenged. They give schooling a bad name up in Newcastle.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Sun Oct 17, 2021 4:23 pmthe **** fest on sky over Newcastle is seriously embarrassing

Newcastle were never going to be in a relegation battle, to many good players.

that radio 5 build up was cringe making. reading out the sentimental slop on banners, name checking ant and dec who are in the stadium, and the inevitable mark knopfler dirge droning out the speakers.
Hope spurs win.

I'll be LMAO if Sours win, but sadly on the evidence of the opening 10 minutes it's not looking very likely alas.Wile E Coyote wrote: ↑Sun Oct 17, 2021 4:40 pmthat radio 5 build up was cringe making. reading out the sentimental slop on banners, name checking ant and dec who are in the stadium, and the inevitable mark knopfler dirge droning out the speakers.

Getting worse. Sky cameras just happen to spot Ant & Dec so Martin Tyler reads out the clearly prepared: “I’m a celebrity, get me into here.”

Why haven’t they shown Amanda Staveley and her crew jumping up and down after the last two goals?

Have any of you heard the recording by a guy who calls himself 'The Geordie Singer' he's taken the tune of Mandy by Barry Manilow and it's a homage to Amanda Stavely one line goes' Amanda you came and you saved us from Ashley', vomit inducing crap.

Sounds like someone in the crowd has collapsed and needs the defibrillator.

Re: Today's footie 17/10/21
Not inconceivable the biggest club in England (in their own minds) will be in the bottom three when the window opens. That will dictate who they sign - scrappers would then be needed despite the fans demanding fantasy football.
They have played some easy games compared to us, while we have had Man City, Liverpool, Leicester and Everton away, and Arsenal at home, they have just had Man Utd away and now Spurs at home out of the “big 8”.
EDIT - just seen the crowd situation so hope they are ok.

Re: Today's footie 17/10/21
Correctly the players have left the field, once it was made clear what was happening, you cannot continue a game of football when a person in the stand is fighting for their life.
I hope he or she comes through this and makes a recovery.

Hopefully their club will in future be able to have funds and medical staff available for fans instead of relying on the playing staff of both clubs.
