Surely part of their development to play with different players and different formations. Admittedly that didn't work tonight but it's part of the learning curve for these players.

We were short of central midfielders, only Helm and Woods in the squad. Perhaps that had something to do with the formation....and performance.

Strange how the away team has won each fixture in our group so far. Sheff Utd beat Everton, we beat Sheff Utd then lost our home game.

Watching it I felt like we dominated but decision making and execution in the final 3rd let us down. Playing a new formation and rotating in a number of fringe players played a big part in that.
