Under 21 International
Does anyone please have any knowledge of the likely attendance at the above.
We're trying to gauge how busy it will be so that some of our party can plan what time to
set off to get here with it being a 7 o'clock kick off.
Anyone with their ear to the ground please ?

Re: Under 21 International
The last time we hosted an England U21s game against Portugal in 2014 the attendance was 10,711.
I’d say a few went last time to support Danny Ings. Who was our main man at the time.
There’s only one stand open the James Hargreaves and there’s lots of room left all over.
Be about 4 or 5k on max.

Three Burnley players played that night, Michael Keane and Nathaniel Chalobah who were both with us on loan at the time.PadihamThickNeck wrote: ↑Thu Oct 21, 2021 4:30 pm

Re: Under 21 International
Doesn't look like many have taken up the extreamely cheap tickets on offer.
It's an early kick off, and a chance to see the next generation of England Internationals, and who knows possibly the next world class superstar.
I'm surprised grassroots clubs, schools and other community run groups aren't taking advantage of watching a competitive International game of football.
Especially when there's going to be no premier league games on for 2 weeks.
Thought the town would have come out and got right behind this.

Thanks all for the info/opinions.
I would have thought they would sell tickets at neighbouring clubs, both league and non league.
It would seem the sensible thing to do to me.

Certainly cheap enough, got 5 good seats together in the JHU for a total of £32.50!

Wasn’t aware of that. Impressive list.PadihamThickNeck wrote: ↑Thu Oct 21, 2021 5:25 pmBruno Fernandes, Joao Cancelo, Bernardo Silva & Ruben Neves just to name a few all played for Portugal that night too.
Had any of them made the breakthrough at club level by that point?
Re: Under 21 International
I'd guess there'll be about 10 thousand on. Plenty will buy at the last minute.

Very impressive all of them regulars in the 1st team now.Bordeauxclaret wrote: ↑Thu Oct 21, 2021 7:50 pmWasn’t aware of that. Impressive list.

As for making a breakthrough I think they was all very young and at the start of there careers just starting to play regularly for clubs.
Ruben Neves was only 17 playing for the Under 21s.

Re: Under 21 International
I've just purchased 2 tickets for the game but only been charged £7.50 for each seat.
The adult price is £15 per seat, but groups of 10 or more are £7.50 each.
I've checked my bank account and only £15 has been debited.
Has anyone else had this happen?

Just out of interest I am going to have a spare ticket "over 65" if anyone wants one ... it is a QR code on my phone so slightly awkward...

Cheers Bosscat & Loyal, the discount wasn't mentioned in the email I received this morning, but I'm not complaining.
