Quick ticketing question
Does the club now send out e-tickets / email ticket proof as I have someone who wont be at home to pick up their tickets for the Spurs game ?
Thanks
Thanks
Re: Quick ticketing question
I got E tickets mate. Not to hijack your OP I also have a question on the tickets. I ordered and received the 3 tickets as QR codes, will the turnstile bloke allow me to scan 3 and let 3 in ? as my Grandson is coming on his first match and he wouldn't be able scan himself in.

Re: Quick ticketing question
Aye you’re right - he’s been sent out QR codes. Once person should be able to scan all in

Re: Quick ticketing question
I think it's OK for all of the QR codes to be on the one phone but it is obviously easier if you can share the email as we did for the Cadiz friendly.
Re: Quick ticketing question
Anyone know how long an e mail from the club with the ticket QR code normally takes?.. Paid a couple of hours ago and not received anything
Cheers

Re: Quick ticketing question
What's the reason for not sending out paper tickets any more?
Re: Quick ticketing question

Quicker, easier, cheaper.....however, if you don't have a smartphone then at least you can print them off or get someone to do it for you??fidelcastro wrote: ↑Mon Oct 25, 2021 10:47 pmWhat's the reason for not sending out paper tickets any more?

QR codes , don't get me going as going to an international here in Ireland you have to print them off as you have to pass them in the tiny slot for the gate to open , hey i am a grand master of Origami these days ...........

Re: Quick ticketing question
We don’t have anything quite so modern as automatic opening. It still requires a turnstile operator to release it.

Ahhh but at club level on Friday night , well the story goes as follows .ClaretTony wrote: ↑Tue Oct 26, 2021 12:38 pmWe don’t have anything quite so modern as automatic opening. It still requires a turnstile operator to release it.
Now i buy my tickets on line print them at home with a bar code , take it to the game scan and away you go . Now decided to buy at the ground on Friday night and was given a QR code on a ticket . So bought the ticket yer woman had her scanner and tried to scan it and no luck , she said where did you get this from i just pointed about two yards from her and said there you saw me buy it , she just shugged her shoulders and said go on go in .
Hi Tec Galway United hummmmmm .
Re: Quick ticketing question
Hi CT, Just one to possibly bring up if you are ever in a supporters club meeting with the club. As above I attended with all 3 E tickets on my phone, I did send 1 to my son who is 22 as you know and no problem, but my grandson is 6 and obviously doesn't have a phone, so I explained to the bloke on the turnstile that could I possibly scan 2 tickets and go through with him, to which I got No! so I said well its a bit much asking a 6 year old to push that big iron thing, so my son went first, I then scanned my grandson in, and tried to explain to him he needed to stand in the big iron cage and push his way through wile my son and I helped the iron cage move, and low and behold it jammed, so I now have a petrified 6 year old stuck in the turnstile while the attendant frantically pressing the pedal to allow the turnstile to move to get him out the other side. I said to him why couldn't you do that in the first place you just pressed that pedal around a dozen times to get him through there I could have gone through with him if you let me scan more than 1 at once, to which I was told we are not allowed!!1 Unbelievable and not the best first match experience.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Sat Oct 23, 2021 11:51 amI think it's OK for all of the QR codes to be on the one phone but it is obviously easier if you can share the email as we did for the Cadiz friendly.
