Souness just summed it up well:

“Ole’s CV is Molde and Cardiff, what has he done to deserve the biggest job in world football..?

Ok, the Deloitte and Touche report says he’s good with zero funds…”

They were very lucky in the European games I’ve seen. With the take to at their disposal along with their expenditure they should be doing much better. They need a better manager.

I have no particular love for Liverpool but I have say I enjoyed that. I almost enjoyed the after match bickering, but Sky spoil it as usual with their emphasis on why the glory boys can't always be unbeatable. Maybe they should spend more money.

Crikey! just catching up on the scores after a day at work, if Ole somehow survives this on top of their drubbing at Leicester he would be advised to purchase a lottery ticket.

Having missed it live, I watched MOTD2. Brilliant to watch. Pogba was rightly sent off, I think Ronaldo was very fortunate to stay on.

Not sure whether it was Richards or Wright that said it but it was along the lines of: Liverpool have an elite manager, City have an elite manager, Chelsea have an elite manager and United have a former striker.

How on earth this bloke got the job in the first place is beyond me.

Ronaldo should have gone. Laughable when Neville said 'well, at least he kicked the ball'.

Worse than Pogba’s in that it was nasty & deliberate

Not sure if anyone watched the pundits at Sky after the game.
Neville was getting more high pitched with every passing minute. Desperate for his mate not to be sacked.

Aye, any other manager and he'd have been screaming for blood. He also blamed everything, apart from OGS.
