Former Rangers, Everton and Scotland boss has passed away today, just 73,.

Yes just heard this shock news, I knew he wasn't that advanced in age, but only 73 blimey!

Condolences to his family, and also his many friends.

Very sad news. I remember him coming to Rangers to be the no.2 of Souness after he’d left Sampdoria…then of course he took the manager’s job himself and WHAT a job he did. RIP

Yes agree, very sad news. It’s no age 73. He always came across as a nice man with an excellent footballing knowledge. RIP Walter.

Echo all the above sentiments. Always came across as a really nice guy, liked him at Everton, and will be forever associated with Rangers. RIP Walter.
