Timmy Paine
Always knew he was a compulsive puller. Stood down as captain with 17 days to go till the ashes.
Hope he still makes the team

Not as good as Smith and Warners I thought. Didn’t get an uncontrolled outburst where you couldn’t tell what he was saying.claretonthecoast1882 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 19, 2021 8:38 amHis tears while reading out his statement are worthy of an award
I have to say it seems v harsh. Been investigated and no action taken only to take action 4 years later.

Very true, Smith was right up there with best performing actors.
Think he has took this action as it was about to become public knowledge, his wife and the Aussie cricket board knew about it and obviously they were fine with it.

He thought the sexting was private. But he heard today that someone is making them public. Smells very much of Cricket Australia swept it under the carpet. The woman who worked for Cricket Tasmania had to quit her job.Red Fox Rocks Socks wrote: ↑Fri Nov 19, 2021 8:48 amNot as good as Smith and Warners I thought. When appointed captain, he said “the behaviour of the players needs to improve” bit hypocritical really.

With a technique that leaves your middle stump exposed he was a accident waiting to happen
Re: Timmy Paine
Perfect excuse to get Smith back in as captain.

Re: Timmy Paine
In the current climate it would be a P A disaster for Aussie cricket to re appoint Smith. Cummins would be a bold move, he would be the first quick in sixty five years!

What is it with Aussie captains and public sobbing ? Doesn’t take a lot to have them blubbing like babies . Though is there a man jack amongst us who hasn’t sent dirty texts to our mistresses ? Half my staff must have seen my knob !

I think cummin was what’s got Paine in this mess in the first place.claretonthecoast1882 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 19, 2021 9:10 amDon't think the Aussie public would be too keen, Cummins seems the popular choice
That slip of the tongue by the Aussie news bloke where Paine had a bulging d!ck not so long ago wasn’t far off the mark it turns out

Re: Timmy Paine
Having read the said texts I find it an irony that he may be replaced by his vice captain called Pat Cummins.

Cummins watch actually give the nickname cider by Timmy. If you say Cummins cider to yourself you’ll get itTerry Cochrane wrote: ↑Fri Nov 19, 2021 11:07 amHaving read the said texts I find it an irony that he may be replaced by his vice captain called Pat Cummins.

His actions don’t meet the standards of an Australian captain , but he’s been ok with it for 4 years though

Not sure what the back story is but presumed it’s the old woman scorned thing , selling her story etc . He’s certainly bang to rights with a proper “ full English “ of choice acronyms and filth ,that’s for sure .

Re: Timmy Paine
Cummins named skipper with Smith as his deputy, meanwhile Paine will miss the Ashes due to taking a break from the game.
Interesting choice to select a quick as their captain, can't think of many quicks who've been successful captains in test cricket.
Sadly I still think England will get hammered down under, Australia simply possess the better players, and away teams rarely win in an Ashes series.
