That photo tells me we have serious financial problems.
They can't afford the heating bills hence why Alan Pace is having to wear a scarf!

Alan’s been to Bank of Dave for a loan for the January transfer window.
Re: David fishwick
He has a helicopter you know.
But he doesn’t like to talk about it.

Re: David fishwick
Football and helicopters never a good thing.
Sorry, I can't be optimistic about helicopters.
On the subject of exciting times ahead. My guess (and, as always, I have no inside knowledge) is that David Fishwick may be investing in ALK.

Re: David fishwick
Probably most worrying is that Dave has much more personal wealth than our Chairman
Re: David fishwick
Maybe Alan has asked for a loan to pay for all those shares that they want to buy.

Re: David fishwick
I really want to like this guy, he’s a local lad made good and proud of his roots.
I follow him on Twitter and can’t help feeling he’s a bit of a cock, he doesn’t seem to know anything about football and just uses the club as a publicity stunt.
I’d love to be proved wrong but it’s just the way I see it.

Anyone who talks Burnley up be it the town or club is fine by me, also he has sponsored things at Burnley, valuable cash.

Re: David fishwick
No issue with him using the club for his own publicity if the club is getting something out of it too.cl40 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 24, 2021 7:12 pmI really want to like this guy, he’s a local lad made good and proud of his roots.

Re: David fishwick
Celebrity fans like Alistair Campbell and Tony Livesey have a genuine knowledge and affection for the club, I don’t see that from Dave Fishwick.
Re: David fishwick
If he’s helped people and businesses in the area then he’s alright by me. He’s clearly got some interest in the club too.

Re: David fishwick
Glad there’s several positive posts about this man, can never understand people calling others because they have a feeling about someone. Wonder why a wealthy man might attract these sort, um ?
Re: David fishwick
Not his wealth, I’m guessing Alistair Campbell is a wealthy man and I think he’s brilliant with his enthusiasm and love of the club. Following Dave on Twitter he just comes across as a knob, as I said I want to like the guy just can’t help my opinion.

Re: David fishwick
I don’t know anything about him but I believe he’s not a football fan although that’s not relevant.
Re: David fishwick
Many people feel the same about Alistair Campbell but I’m sure his promotion of BFC overall is positive for the club as it will be with Dave Fishwick.

Re: David fishwick
Yeah probably will, like I say wanted to like the guy, local boy made good and all that, he just seems to use the club for his own gain/tv career without really having any passion for the club.
