Cut a square in the middle of a slice of bread and start to fry it.
Then when you flip the bread over, crack an egg so the yoke goes in that hole.
Then fry the combo until it's all done.
That is about to become second-breakfast; I'll report back in an hour.

I have never antagonised a Lion
Albert did and look what 'appened to him...

Poked him with a stick with an horses head handle. Bought in Woolworths for half a crown.

And Wallace ate him up.

The Cornish pasty was made for the Cornish miners. The wedge of pastry was designed to be held in the dirty fingers and then discarded. Lancashire miners had the Torpedo, a dry herb enthused hot pot mix, which like the original pasties was half savoury half sweet. The last Lancashire Torpedo’s I ever saw advertised was on Burnley Market.

But Albert knew all about lions, how ferocious and wild, and to see one lying there sleeping just didn’t seem right to the child.

It’s never too late. I wish mine was around to tell him but I don’t think I ever did.

Sort of, had to take someone to hospital; got the eggy fried bread made/eaten first though πŸ‘
Top scran, with plenty of black pepper and salt, I suspect it'll become a regular.
