I dont disagree with that as I think Tarks is at least as good as Coady and maybe one or two others. Under a different manager I think he would have been involved more

Re: Nixon: West Ham to make Tarkowski bid
We can't sell him if he is waiting to be a free agent. He can't go if we want to retain him until the Seasons ends.
Catch 22?
I think in the interest of both parties he will be here until the end of the season.

I think Nixon has shown the clubs intentions in January.
Sell Tarks for whatever we can get for him. I imagine somewhere close to 10m.
Sign James Hill with the profits. Promote Collins to starting CB and James Hill becomes third choice.
From there use whatever profit is left over to sign a CM on loan until the end of the season.

You do understand if West Ham make a bid for one of our players if does nothing at all to show our intentions.Newcastleclaret93 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 29, 2021 11:12 amI think Nixon has shown the clubs intentions in January.

No but Nixon saying West Ham are after Tarks then a day later saying we are chasing James Hill, just putting two and two together.claretonthecoast1882 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 29, 2021 11:15 amYou do understand if West Ham make a bid for one of our players if does nothing at all to show our intentions.
It makes sense though, Dyche obviously rates Collins and if letting Tarks go strengthens us elsewhere then it is good business.

Why would he want to warm the bench at West Spam when he would be a constant on the team sheet at Newcastle? And, they're proper Northerners up there. Real pies and beerTheOriginalLongsider wrote: ↑Sun Nov 28, 2021 6:20 amHopefully They get into a bidding war with Newcastle. Wonder if he would still go to Newcastle if they are still at the bottom.
Personally, I'd rather he sign a new contract

We would be insane to sell him Newcastle in January. He could well be the difference between us or them going down, with whichever he plays for staying up.RalphCoatesComb wrote: ↑Mon Nov 29, 2021 11:35 amWhy would he want to warm the bench at West Spam when he would be a constant on the team sheet at Newcastle? I think some Geordie chappy is saying Newcastle Uniteds next two games could decide their season Norwich and us and then an awful run of gamessummitclaret wrote: ↑Mon Nov 29, 2021 12:20 pmWe would be insane to sell him Newcastle in January. James Hill isn’t ready to be third choice for a Prem team.Newcastleclaret93 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 29, 2021 11:12 amI think Nixon has shown the clubs intentions in January.

Think of abolition of maximum wage, Match of the Day, face like a shark. That was James Hill. (Unless there are two? )

WestHam want Nat Phillips now
Re: Nixon: West Ham to make Tarkowski bid
I mean they've a ton of injuries, Europa league football. The way some on here go on, I'm surprised it's only West Ham and not Barcelona coming in for him. Good luck being 3rd choice at West Ham James, at least it will stop the nonsense on here about how you're the next Beckenbaur and future England captain.fatboy47 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 28, 2021 9:20 amBut... But.. Tarks is slow and clumsy and nowhere near good enough to challenge Mings or slab head for the England gig. I've read all about it on here.
Yet a very experienced manager of a side in the top 4 is trying to sign him. Moyes needs to wise up and read this forum.

The same Matty Hill who clearly and blatantly handled on the line for PNE against us and Lee Mason didn't send him off. Probably the only person in the ground that didn't see it that day along with his assistant.
