Do you mean the goal nets?

They are the warm up goals that they use pre-match

Been used for a while pre match.

Not that I've been in the ground and seen them, just seen them on various Clarets player videos in the past.

Ah right a precaution in case a ball hits someone I expect.

I think more to stop someone having to retrieve the balls.

He’s probably wondering why in Burnley he’s using a pound shop brush. In Colorado they’d have about 10 hovertractors Job’d be over in 10 minutes.

Is it a cryptic clue that he intends to sign himself on as a sweeper in January ?

People ask why the Director’s seats are so empty during the game - I find it refreshing that Alan seems to be charging around trying to get the business to work rather than hobnobbing with a group of VIPs. I know he will have SOME guests and that the opposing team have dignitaries to host, but that doesn’t seem to be his big thing, which I find refreshing. Good effort yesterday trying to get that match on and it also gives me confidence that the other teething problems will get sorted.

They are good points.

Re: directors box, I agree it’s perhaps a positive sign that it’s less hobnobbing and more down to business. Personally though, given they’re unused, I’d give those seats to deserving staff each week as a thank you. Be that BFCitC, the women’s team, the guys that helped shift the snow yesterday, the retiring chap that had worked for the club for 60 years, or just local charities doing a good job.

You’re right though; if you’re prepared to pick a shovel up it suggests he’ll get a grasp of some of the other challenges. I’m just glad they’ve started pre-pouring HT pints!!!

He can't afford. all that credit at the shop is for people who sold their shares, not people who bought them. ;)

When was the last time you saw a Premier League chairman out there shoveling snow?

Putting the finances to one side he's gotten well & truly stuck in and is clearly passionate about being an owner not just an investor.

That's because you will be in the queue to get in, when they are in use!

I haven't seen them for some time!

Garlick would have been on the phone to Chill Factore Manchester and tried to sell them the snow.

What's happening on here this morning? Two dozen posts and not one of the resident Moaning-Minnies has managed to come up with some evil ulterior motive for AP being out there with a brush?

Thank you, to Alan Pace and everyone else who was out there for trying to get the game played.

He's actually shovelling the snow back onto the pitch to get the game called off :D

Was lucky enough to be in the corporate hospitality suite recently and met Mr. Pace.

Can’t believe how tiny he is, he’d have had to have had a child’s coat from the shop :D

Should've done, all that hot air would have been useful.
