Been absolutely brilliant for me tonight. Really enjoy the Amazon weeks - especially when we have 2 away games featured.

I’m sure Amazon do very well out of their footie deal. I just subscribed for one month purely to watch the football this week.
No problems for me streaming this evening btw.

Probably an internet issue. Mine is generally pretty poor but never had a problem with Amazon TV which I watched quite a lot.

I've never had a buffering problem with Amazon even on "Best" quality. Is your internet connection fast enough and stable enough for the quality setting you're using?

I'd no issues at all tonight in terms of quality, that was watching via the App on Sky Q.

Yea it's fine generally the wife was watching something on Prime downstairs maybe it's not good enough to run both, she won't be watching anything on Prime while our game is on tomorrow though :D

I also had bad buffering problems tonight using Amazon through the Sky platform - speed should be good enough as its the 900 product from Bt and is always >100mbps on wireless.

Had Amazon for years £79, it's paid for itself many times over with free next day delivery. Lots of free stuff to watch as well on Prime video.
ps never had a buffering issue with it

Chances are if you have trouble the issue will be the WiFi signal in your house, some other stream, download or update going on at the same time or your ISP having issues or slowing your connection down.

Amazon sucks up a lot more juice compared to an illegal stream.

We pay £7.99 a month and have done for years. Nothing wrong with a 'special' deal for new customers...one month free trial, hardly spectacular. The hammering our Prime account gets from the missus and stepdaughter is worth the monthly fee...for me the footy is a Brucie Bonus!! TBF their coverage is pretty good....IMO better than BT sport...

Must admit I think Amazon Prime is a bargain. We get more then our moneys worth without the TV aspect so the football being on it is an added bonus!

Had to turn both games off last night, lasted about 20 minutes of the Newcastle game and even less in the Leeds game.

Nothing to do with stream quality more down to the absolute turd both games were.

One of the best bargains around - TV, deliveries, music streaming, books, audio books etc plus excellent customer service for £79 per year

No issues whatsoever here. £79 per-year is a bargain. We also use Prime for work - bought 5 PC keyboards yesterday, and they're already here.

I gave up buying IT stuff locally years ago after some rather shoddy customer service. I took a faulty router back only a couple of hours after we had bought it. Was met by a sulky owner who was reluctant to replace or refund. Told me to sort it out with the manufacturer. I finally ended up with a refund, but only after explaining our consumer rights to him. I walked out of the shop, got back to the office and close our account with them. Just don't have the time for that kind of hassle over an item that cost less than £50.00. We had been pushing business their way for a couple of years and expected better. By the way, it wasn't a Burnley company. On the other hand, buy from Amazon and have an issue - they'll either replace or refund without any quibbling.

I echo (see what I did their) sentiments over Amazon ... I got it when we went into lockdown to watch footie and kept it on because some great TV and free deliveries etc ... we only have 17.5 mbps b-band but little or no buffering here

Just over £6:50 a month certainly works out cheaper if you look at it as every month is chargeable.

That I do NOT believe.
There are lots of times when I watch a few minutes ,or even just 30 seconds of a TV programme before deciding that it's crap and moving on; the one (only?) thing to be said for Danny Dyer, that guy with the shiny-black hair & big teeth and most especially Ant & Dec, is that they never inflict that upon you; the programme appears, you see them and you move on immediately, I'd rather pay Danny Drinkwater a salary than those two. :x

In fairness I knew Norwich had equalised when I saw their faces drop and that was earlier than any dodgy stream would have told me

Really annoyed, we signed up this afternoon in order to watch the game but just couldn’t get it on, it kept saying “internet connection problem” even though our internet was fine and working for everything else. Might have to get it looked at as we’re not very good with modern technology. Sounds like I didn’t miss anything.

Watched the first half on my phone using the Amazon Prime app - sat in my car in an area of N Yorkshire with not much coverage waiting for my lad to finish footy training. Picture was great with no buffering and on the app you get access to tons of live stats - tackles / blocks etc etc....... home for the 2nd half using the Prime app which is now built into Sky Q..... great quality HD picture - decent commentary - great interview with SD after. Always a great service when Amazon get the games.

It was good for the first 30 minutes, then every 3 seconds it buffered for a second.
Tried to watch the zeverton match at half time, that was worse.

Completely ruined watching the game.

Now I get 5mbps, just upgraded and waiting for a new hub which should give me 50mbps.

Hope it improves then.

I love Amazon and my initial complaint about them on this thread was misjudged,I watched the game downstairs on my big tele perfect picture and no buffering....and I watched our marvellous bunch of misfits(according to a lot of over critical bellends on here) gain another point against a superior side....well done boys great result,my wife has had the remote taken away from her herewith on Amazon football nights ...UTC 😉

That's a phenomenal speed, do you really need that in a house?

Do you run a business from home employing 15+ people?

I bet it costs a fair bit too?

It's been perfect for ages but I did have a similar issue a while ago when it was buffering. At the time I checked all the normal things such as internet speed, router updates etc but all OK. I then just rebooted the router and it's worked fine ever since :?
Amazon Prime is great value IMHO. You get free delivery with Amazon, which we use frequently, Amazon books, music and of course the recent rugby internationals plus the Premiership matches. Excellent at 79 quid a year.

On the subject of internet speed I'm with BT fibre and have opted for the "light" version which gives me 300mps. My next door neighbour, who works from home, went for the full fat version which gives him 900mps. At 5 mps I'm not surprised that you have buffering issues when watching a live, streamed event.
On the subject of cost I pay around 90 quid a month which gives me the 300mps fibre internet, BT HD TV, BT Sport, Now TV, Landline with 500 calling minutes, International calling and my mobile phone with unlimited calls, texts and 12mb/month data. There's probably better deals out there but the service I receive is pretty good with a dedicated number for any issues.

It would be nice to have all the games streamed on Prime. Maybe pay per game service or free with a Prime account.
The coverage was far superior to BT Sport with its silly showing of managers or nomark media stars in the crowd.

We get very fast broadband, currently have 20 devices connected!
3 x Tivo boxes in 3 separate rooms, one mobile with unlimited data, calls and texts (which is worth at least £25 pm(
Unlimited landlines, all TV programmes including sky sports, movies and BT sports for £105 per month
