Not for us no :D but he was in the company of several other BFC legends like Dobo, Paul Fletcher, Colin Waldron to name a few.

We didn't want to pester them too much as they were all having a quiet drink together but me and my friends did make ourselves known as lifelong Burnley fans and chatted to them for a few minutes and they were very friendly- true gents.

Wonder if Fletcher discussed the under soil heating.

It's December, anything Christmassy is officially allowed now :D

I'm just glad I went for my more subdued BFC Xmas jumper for the visit to the markets this year rather than the one with a big Rudolph in a Burnley scarf on the front, Stan might have refused my photo request :-)

He was sat at the other side of the pub from the others shouting through a megaphone.

I bumped into Colin Waldron in the Manhattan Heights nightclub ages ago down Blackburn (now demolished)...the club, not Blackburn, unfortunately 🙂

Great bloke, was pleased I recognized him, chatted for a while about his time at the Turf.

        Good stuff, Vintage!
Dobbo won't remember, but I ran into him on Piccadilly Station just after Lord sold him to Everton.
I was too Star Struck to say much of any sense.

I thought it might be the 1970s squad's Christmas drink in Manchester. Stan has joined them in the last couple of years. Was Dobbo there? He's not always with them. Some really good blokes there who I know would have been more than happy to chat with you.

Just an other, on going confirmation; about the nature of our club . Those who wore the shirt or did their best as managers are part of our family forever.

          Yes Dobbo was there Tony.

The full line up was Stan, Dobbo, P. Fletcher,
          F. Casper, C. Waldron, B. Rodaway, J.
          Thompson, and Geoff McNulty
