They were 100/1 yesterday to win league 2. Great punt being the form team and Forest Green imploding. Over the last 7 games Bristol Rovers have gained 12 points on Forest Green. Great chance to lay Forest Green in that division with a blanket of 8 teams.

Blimey! just looked at the table, I didn't realise they were so close to the top 3, a great chance for Joey and Bristol Rovers to claim an automatic spot never mind enduring the peril of the play-off's.

The Gas host FGR 3rd last game as well, so that could be rather tasty, and with a new stadium around the corner they finally appear to be heading in the right direction again.

Have used a QC once in my professional life and they billed £30k an hour. Nice work if you can get it!
I'd hazard a guess that you have never never hired a QC in your life and they didn't bill you 30k an hour
Absolute football messageboard nonsense

I never said I hired one, my client at the time did. They certainly did bill my client for it. In the end the QC was worth it as he helped saved my client £600m.

Could it have been £30k for the “Advice” rather than an hourly rate?

It was the hourly rate. He was the top of his field and we had to travel down to his office in London to meet him, getting the agenda right for the meeting took more time than the actual meeting- you don’t want to waste a second at those rates!

This was about 7 years ago so god knows what the rates are now.
