The only good thing from this was not booking a train ticket from London to go up to it.

Appears to have taken Dyche 88 mins to work out McNeil belongs on the left?

Superb cross from Dwight there, but absolutely diddly anywhere near it.

Jayrod done more in 5 minutes than Wood did in 75.
At least Jay's showing a desire to try and make something happen, which has been sadly lacking from Wood today.

Its a joy to watch Westy and the rest of our socalled midfield running the game. Jesus, they arent even decent Championship standard. No creativity, no skill, but they can certainly lump it forwards.

They could have 9 men and we wouldn't score

We've had some **** served up in the last year or two but this is by far the worst performance I think I've ever seen.

I said we needed 3 points from these two games - we have one.

I cannot see a way out whatsoever looking at our form and our remaining fixtures.

A really bad defeat. We're in serious trouble, as if we weren't before. The squad looks a busted flush, no energy, no pace, lack of goals.

Really do not think that goal should have been allowed to stand today

But the focus has to be on our lack of goal threat, lack of chances created and our hurried, rushed, anxious performance. We were not good enough today against a side who we should have been able to beat.

Terrible result, but we absolutely hammered them second half, unlucky for the disallowed goal when Jay Rod was offside.

Newcastle really are sh!t though, and we are much better but unable to score again

Vydra does everything right apart from the most important aspect of actually sticking the ball in the net, and this is why he rarely starts.

Although if Cornet is our for a lengthy spell he might well get a decent run now.

Beut the goal was crucial Rowls. They were struggling until we gifted that. That lifted them and the crowd and gave them something to si.ply hold on to and counter.

And it had the opposite effect on us. We became hurried and disjointed and we looked anxious.

People say luck evens out but its not doing and it shows in the mentality in the 2nd half

How bad these are at the back and we took 80 minutes to put them under real pressure. Wood won some headers early on but most players kept back so the defence was fairly comfortable.

Poor performance, but even worse approach to the game. We went in with a “cannot lose” attitude, and guess what, we did. I hate that about this Burnley team - our record against the very worst teams is appalling, record against the rest is good.
