Has Dyche lost the dressing room?
That time of year for this thread.
1 win in 14, look abysmal without Cornet - how much further can Dyche take us other than what looks like a one way trip to the Championship?

Re: Has Dyche lost the dressing room?
I think our midfield is just genuinely terrible and none of them would start for any other team in the league.

Not sure it matters, because if that’s the best he can do with the dressing room, were down either way.

Re: Has Dyche lost the dressing room?
He's managed to suck any ounce of life out of the attacking minded players.
This is nothing new though, I've rarely seen a burnley player under him look like they're enjoying a game and most of the time they appear to be afraid to go forward.

Re: Has Dyche lost the dressing room?
No but if you keep making errors and struggle to create and score goals you'll find it tough especially in the PL.
Doesn't help our midfield is the weakest I can recall for several seasons.

Re: Has Dyche lost the dressing room?
We are too easy to play against. Our defence is still quite good but we just dont give the oppostion defence too much to worry about.Probably Newcastle's easiest points this season
Re: Has Dyche lost the dressing room?
No, we are a shite team, he's built and coached us into this shite team though.
When you spend close to £20m (fee+wages) on Jay Rodriguez, what on earth do you expect?

Re: Has Dyche lost the dressing room?
Dyche has been here 9 years now. That is how he wants the midfield to be. There'll be no sorting it because it's doing exactly as he wants.

Two defeats in nine or whatever it is would suggest not.
Creating and taking chances (palace aside) is the problem.

It's the sane as last season and the season before ...but I agree our midfield is poor and mcneil not influencing games as he has done in the past

Wow! It must not have been Dyche in charge for the Chelsea match or the Brentford match ir 80% of the matches this season then I presume? It was a poor performance and a bad day at the office, move on.

No, but I do wonder if he’ll lose the boardroom if we don’t start picking up wins very, very soon.
Re: Has Dyche lost the dressing room?
If he's lost the dressing room why doesn't someone simply put a sign up that says "Dressing room this way"?

Re: Has Dyche lost the dressing room?
There was no lack of effort, when a manager loses the dressing room the first thing you notice is lack of effort, so no he hasn’t.

Re: Has Dyche lost the dressing room?
Really? You must have watched a different game to me then. Once the goal went in we pretty much allowed them to do what they liked until the last 5 minutes. What is it now, 5 wins in 36?Burnley1989 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 04, 2021 5:16 pmThere was no lack of effort, when a manager loses the dressing room the first thing you notice is lack of effort, so no he hasn’t.

I think our effort levels have dropped over the last couple of seasoms, TBH.Burnley1989 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 04, 2021 5:16 pmThere was no lack of effort, when a manager loses the dressing room the first thing you notice is lack of effort, so no he hasn’t.

Re: Has Dyche lost the dressing room?
His loyalty has to change as some of the team are not up, and letting him down. Interestingly Roberts got a taste today-may be worth a start.Wood to be rested-its a squad game. Looks like Rodriguez tried again today as he did at Wolves. To make things worse Cornet may have an injury to keep him out for some games. Has been said today by neutral pundits that we looked a threat until he came off
Re: Has Dyche lost the dressing room?
No.
However, we are playing without much potency, just at this moment.
Let's hope for a couple of lucky wins to get momentum.

Re: Has Dyche lost the dressing room?
He's not lost the dressing room
He's lost the plot
How can a midfield four (as weak as ours) be expected to compete - apart from against Chelsea, and maybe Brentford, and I forgot Rochdale

We looked slightly better with Cornet but you have to take into account how poor Newcastle were/are.Iloveyoubrady wrote: ↑Sat Dec 04, 2021 5:27 pmNo we didn’t. We were all over them until he went off. We looked like the obvious side to win the game, but then we went absolutely ****.

Cornet going off was the Turning point, both teams knew how key he is to our attack. Quickly followed by a gift of a goal and we were always going to be chasing.Newcastleclaret93 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 04, 2021 5:26 pmYou could see the players gave up after 30 mins
