Cookie will go on to better things
Ipswich are a delusional club thinking they are still a top team.

Ipswich town have had two of the best England managers in modern football history, sadly Paul Cook will not be the third.

And Ipswich have had just two decent periods in their history with those two managers.

I like Paul Cook, for his time here; but his management career seems to be boom or bust, which itself suggests he is about his level but hasn’t found a club that really fits him yet, and he’s tried a few.

Threw most of the club under the bus at the end of last season to try and endure himself to the fans.

Not surprised he’s failed there.

Taken from the BBC:

'Former English top flight side Ipswich will now be seeking their fourth manager since Mick McCarthy left in April 2018, following the short reign of Paul Hurst and two-and-a-half years of Paul Lambert'

I think they need to start looking beyond Pauls.

Another ex-Claret to follow even if it's only for a short while.

I know McGreal is only in interim charge but has it happened before that a former Claret has succeeded a former Claret as manager of another club?

Graham Alexander succeeded Micky Mellon at Fleetwood in 2012.

Really thought he'd go places in management but it doesn't look like he's progressing anywhere other than round in circles.
