I like Paul Cook, for his time here; but his management career seems to be boom or bust,which itself suggests he is about his level but hasn’t found a club that really fits him yet, and he’s tried a few.

I think they need to start looking beyond Pauls.

I know McGreal is only in interim charge but has it happened before that a former Claret has succeeded a former Claret as manager of another club?

Graham Alexander succeeded Micky Mellon at Fleetwood in 2012.

Really thought he'd go places in management but it doesn't look like he's progressing anywhere other than round in circles.
