Imagine fining an 18 year old more than £30,000 for saying the ref was ****

Absolutely correct ,he should have never been allowed to continue reffing after being found guilty of that.Burnley1989 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 07, 2021 1:29 pmhe's right though, he shouldn't be allowed to referee anymore

Re: Jude Bellingham's comments about the referee.
Agree that he should never have reffed again but having seen the incident he got it right. Penalty for handball. Haven’t seen the incident where Dortmund were refused a pen appeal.

Don’t see the problem, at least the league can dictate who’s able to pay him now they know.

Police involved. Ridiculous….
Whether the ref and VAR made the right call should be irrelevant really. He should NEVER have been allowed to referee a game again, not at ANY level.
He’s young, and full of youthful exuberance and he was hurting. I’m sure most of us have felt this way more than once when you remember the refereeing decisions that have gone against us.

Re: Jude Bellingham's comments about the referee.
He was silly, used poor judgement and spoke without considering the consequences… sure none of those judging him, or us judging him occasionally ran off at the mouth playing football. One of the only times I was warned with a booking was for mouthing off at a teammate mid game… let him be young ffs.bobinho wrote: ↑Tue Dec 07, 2021 4:12 pmPolice involved. Ridiculous….

Money well spent, I'd say. It's about time some of our refs' ineptness or worse was called out.

Just for context, Bellingham is getting a worse outcome from the German FA than countries do for racism charges from UEFA and FIFA

why ? can't beat factual content
Re: Jude Bellingham's comments about the referee.
Interesting to see that the ref was actually commenting on the decisions too. Quite nice to have a bit of clarity about why a decision was made. I don't know if it's a standard thing in Germany or just happened here because of the charge.
