RIP Kevin Hodkinson

Post by depechedingle » Thu Dec 23, 2021 6:39 pm

Very sad to hear that a fellow claret Kevin Hodkinson as passed away.

He was a very familiar face at Burnley games, home and away travelling to away games for many years with the Colne Clarets.

No doubt he will causing much havoc up there reunited with Alan Beecroft.

Kevin was a great guy, good egg and good friend to all who knew.

RIP Kevin.

I didn’t know the gentleman but it’s still very sad to hear, especially just before Christmas. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

Sad news, I played cricket with Hodgy. He lived on the next street to us for a while so got to know him pretty well.

RIP Manuel.

Sad to hear this yesterday.

Another face from Colne Clarets gone. Often saw Hodgy near the sorting office in Nelson for a chat about the Clarets or around Turf where he worked on match day in recent years. Got some funny memories of him when I was a young kid.

A very passionate Burnley fan RIP

To my knowledge I didn’t know him but if he was a good friend of Beeky’s then he’ll have been a good lad.

Sorry to hear the news and what an awful time of year for someone to pass away.

Bloody hell, a lad who I took under my wing at Walton High all those years ago, I'm gobsmacked as he was always a shining star in life.

Rest in Peace Hodgy, you were one hell of a good man and I'll sure miss you.

R.I.P Kevin. A good sportsman in his time and and a loyal Claret. Taken from us far too early and far too suddenly. Sincere condolences to all his family and friends.

Tony, you may have known Kevin by sight. For a season or two he stood at the top of the stairs into the James Hargreaves Upper selling draw tickets.....

Heard this happened on Tuesday. My sister knew him and was a keen footballer and cricketer.
He'd have left Walton in '78-ish

Condolences.
