The Huddersfield game should have been £15 and £10 for seniors, and kids £1. WE might have got some lost supporters back

The lost supporters may have come back for that game, but after watching that performance not likely to come back again

It's down to those that go home, away, season after season after season.

It doesn't matter if there are 4000 or 20,000 as long as we have unity, and a support that is unrivalled, like it has been in the past, the players will step up.

If we commit, they'll commit. They'll be giving their all.

I tweeted earlier...

"Make it Fortress Turf Moor on Saturday!

Before the match. During the match. And after.

Greatest shirt lettering!

This season's church needs to be gospel style. On your feet! Chanting!

NOT Songs Of Praise with a Sunday hangover

For the club! For the gaffer!

We need to chant and scream, bang on the walls at the back of the stands. I've tried at Leeds, at home v Palace.

We need the intensity and fierceness that rattled round the Turf when Cornet made his bench debut v Arsenal. We need the same passion that our fans showed v Hull the day we were last relegated. Once we can say we as fans have given it our all, IF we are relegated. I'll be happy knowing I supported the squad to the final whistle of the final game of the season.

When we're favourites for relegation, season after season after season. What do we do? We fkin survive and prove that the EPL v little old Burnley is there to be proven wrong!

UTC! NNN! We are the longside, Burnley!

The only time our atmosphere has been good this season was against Brentford (when we played well) and when Cornet came on against Arsenal.

We need to get back to the no one likes us mentality and close ranks as it feels like everything is against us this season

The atmosphere is being blamed on the ground being too big?? really? I've heard it all now.
If there was more energy on the pitch, there'd be more in the stands... no matter how big it was

Does anyone on here start songs or join in regular?

People demand atmosphere but very few contribute, even in the CF stand a lot sit in there to be in the atmosphere but don't contribute.

I'd need oxygen if I sang at that speed.

I do! As much as I can. There's one or two lads in maybe block 3 longside upper that get a chant going and I'll keep it going for block 2. I know a lot of lads moved from longside upper to CFS, it's a regular pisstake for the CFS to chant -in jest "Longside give us a song"

If the game is on Tuesday. I'll be screaming and chanting my ******** off! You'll see me! Block 3 Longside upper. Shorts on, jumper, Burnley scarf and a very sore throat by the 90th!

If we played on the front foot, positively not negatively. If we got men in the box and created chances, the atmosphere would take care of itself.
It's difficult to inspire the team, when the team does so little to inspire the crowd. It isn't the results, but the performances. Flat and dire.
It's backs against the wall time, and we cannot carry on playing the way we have for the last 7 games and hope to get out of this. We would all rather go down fighting, than waving the white flag, which we did at Newcastle and Leeds, so it's up to SD. The team he puts out, the way they are set up, and the performance they deliver. 3pts against Watford and the place will be bouncing, even if its a quarter empty.

Considering their significant contributions over a sustained and very successful period Tarky and Wood not even having their own songs says a lot.

Having a song for each and every player should be a given and would improve the atmosphere.

The atmosphere at the London Stadium was toxic with many West Ham fans boycotting the soulless bowl.

Now West Ham are competing and playing good football it's generally full and rocking.

Coincidence?

The only thing that will improve it, is when the performances on the pitch improve

It's all well and good saying the fans need to get behind the players, and I agree we do, but we need something from them to do that.
And yet a number of other clubs’ supporters don’t need something from their team to get behind them. Such a shame we don’t have better support at home. Away is no problem as singing throughout but at home I find it quite embarrassing at times.

I did think it rather irresponsible of Leeds to play ‘ I predict a riot’ at the end of our match against them two weeks ago. I know the KCs are from Leeds but the atmosphere was toxic between the fans all game and playing that seemed just a bit too near the knuckle to me. That said, I’m not aware of any issues after the match so maybe I’m being too precious!

There's about ten of us in block 4 having a go. Loads around us left for the CFS and the people below row Oish now are proper Family Stand/Bob Lord. Placid. When playing well they do nothing. They were fine with Vyds being punched in the head and whatever nonsense the rest of the refs have done. You get the point... the hostility has gone. It needs to be fervent at the next home game. Properly old school.

What seems better to you, a 21k stadium with 15-16k in with empty seats or a 16k-17k stadium packed house?
Except in the 3 full seasons prior to Covid we had average gates of over 20,500. Is nobody capable of using Google on this message board?

18/19 Premier League Premier League 19 0 390,148 20,534
17/18 Premier League Premier League 19 0 393,080 20,688

Need to get the old bones on those my row forward rocking on Tuesday! Needs to be as loud as our United game at home when Robbie scored that wondergoal!
