just with the money from home games like the FA cup we had 7500 fans on inc away at £20 a ticket i think thats £150k Necastle had 53000 and at £20 a ticket thats about £1 million we can not pay the wgaes of other clubs. shame but unlaess they cap the limit of suppoorters to 20 .000 and not allowed to charge them more than £40 per ticket we cannot compete on level playing field
Ticket sales to pay wages? What do you think the £120m+ a year is for? this isn't the national league

Fair point, playing 35% of games is definitely much more impressive than 33.3%.

It's not like Brighton have been banging in loads of goals in the last year so his appearances have been limited by him not being required.
It’s a small increase the biggest disservice in your post didn’t mention the third only consisting of 4 sub appearances where he probably plays 20 mins if that last night he came on at 73. So it’s not like the 2 goals are based on massive minutes on the grass the sub appearances actually outweigh the full starts, the reason he doesn’t start as much is probably age & potter has more preferable options upfront in maupay ect. He is a definite improvement on any strikers we have & somebody we should have made more of an effort to sign whilst we had the chance.

Which makes Rodriguez more expensive than Welbeck right? with the £10m JRod fee compared to £0 for Welbeck
not sure tbh mate, I've no idea what the signing on fees were and length of contracts etc. I would suspect there's not much in it at the end - either way, I'd say we haven't had too much value in PL games
