What result do we want ? A draw ? As much as I’d like to see Newcastle and Wood fail and it doesn’t make the short term position look great I think a draw will keep us in touch with both.

A draw definitely best. Two points between them rather than three.

Definitely a draw. Also hope Norwich don’t beat Everton otherwise we end up bottom.

Draw, a very dirty game with season ending injuries and lots of red cards.
Fingers crossed.

Don't discount a Watford win. We have games in hand, one at home against them.

Newcastle to win, you know who to score. Lump on it.

Watford are unpredictable if nothing else. Can see them scoring a few today.

0-0 with Wood having his usual poor game. Offside at least a dozen times and the fans on his case before H.T.

Draw is obviously the best result.
The next best result for us would be a Newcastle win as that would stop Watford getting a five point lead over us.

If Watford win it does make getting out of the bottom 3 much more difficult so, yes a draw or Newcastle win by 1 goal

0-0 draw with both sides involved in an on pitch fight that results in a 10 point deduction for each team.

Draw for me ... but the better of a bad thing would be a Hornets win 1-0

Got to be a draw surely, keeps them both in range, and also avoids either building any momentum.

Suppose not. I don't blame Wood for leaving but I'm going to enjoy watching his new challenge be a complete failure.

We can all hope that he fails, as that means we're more likely to survive.
And if he doesn't hit the ground running the Geordie hordes will let him know in no uncertain terms how they feel.

Nil nil.. Wood misses 3 absolute sitters.. scores in injury time but ruled out by VAR for offside

It's ridiculous how Wood has been elevated to Ronaldo like status by the media and punditry.
Take note though, he is like a young puppy in the penalty area, non stop movement and also has gone nearly 40 minutes (stream lag) and is yet to be offside.
