Today's Footy
Re: Today's Footy
Everton never seem to do us any favours when playing our relegation rivals.

Re: Today's Footy
That is a very pertinent , I sense Bojo will last slightly longer, but it's a tough call TBH.Milltown1882 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 15, 2022 3:34 pmWho lasts longer on the borrowed time they’re on - Boris or Rafa?
Rafa was a strange appointment in the 1st place, and that's not even withstanding his previous Liverpool connections.
Staggering the amount of dosh Everton have spent to be at best mediocre, and at worst possibly battling relegation.

Agree completely. Do think Rafa has been hamstrung a bit by the mass amounts of money Moshiri let previous managers spend but on paper they should be nowhere near the predicament they’re in.tiger76 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 15, 2022 3:40 pmThat is a very pertinent , I sense Bojo will last slightly longer, but it's a tough call TBH.

He’ll do well to be in the QPR squad when he plays for Reading.

Oh! it's definitely not all Rafa's doing, but that club is in a right mess.Milltown1882 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 15, 2022 3:43 pmAgree completely. I think Evertonians have been asking that question since the day he was appointed

Norwich 2-1 Everton

Re: Today's Footy
Andy Carroll gives Reading the lead at Boro
Re: Today's Footy
Rovers got 7 yellow cards. When a player gets a second yellow he is then shown a red. Fairly simple really. Not sure where you get 4 yellows from !
Re: Today's Footy
Toon 1-1 Watford

Perfect result

Big day for Norwich
Re: Today's Footy
A shame Norwich won, but was more important Watford and Newcastle didn't win. Not a disastrous day.

Boos around St James’.
Wood was dreadful. Wonder what the hosting Toon fans will make of that!

Good result at St James' but that Norwich win is a real stinker and leaves us bottom

Re: Today's Footy
I feel Everton will get sucked into this - they are in freefall.
Re: Today's Footy
Very typical Wood performance. He is useless as a lone striker
Re: Today's Footy
Wood barely had a sniff. Newcastle have bigger problems than him. They simply can't create. Unfortunately they will buy someone to make a difference before the window shuts.
I was actually wondering how long Howe would get if results carry on in this vain.
Re: Today's Footy
Wood and Wilson could be good together. Time will tell

Re: Today's Footy
I must’ve been watching a different game then. I saw him through on goal and fluff his chance, jump under a cross such as it hit his back and looped over the bar, power a header over, offside as usual, etc, etc…
