Arsenal v Spurs off

Post by Milltown1882 » Sat Jan 15, 2022 2:24 pm

Arsenal v Spurs off - are Adrian Durham and Sam Matterface going to be as angry as they were about Burnley getting ours called off today?

It's an aboslute joke. The Prem are a disgrace for allowing it to get to this point. I wouldn't be surprised if this happens every season now.

No surprise but the PL allowed this to get out of hand in the first place, and now they've made a rod for their own back regarding the requirements for getting games off.

We should be requesting postponements until Cornet is back, or we sign a striker

The good news or maybe bad is that Xhaka is now suspended for our game.

If it's still on, the way games are falling by the wayside it wouldn't surprise me if it also fell victim to COVID.

The whole season is in severe danger of turning into a farce at this rate.

I'd agree to some extent Steve but they are also without Partey and Elneny, so they will have an attacking but lightweight midfield against us with Smith-Rowe, Odegaard, Martinelli, Saka etc having to play.

If they are talking about lifting all covid restrictions after the 26th will that mean the need to self isolate goes as well?

Living in Scotland I don't know all the details about restrictions in England, but I suppose it might be one of the things that changes.

We’re not going to finish this season on time and everyone has to play their final game at the same time

Spurs not impressed by the North London derby being off, and Gary Neville also having a strong opinion.

It's just the plan B restrictions that will be lifted for now.
