I think they’ll both be working extremely hard on recruitment, its a tough ask though within in a limited period. Neither will be wanting us to drop a division so for anyone thinking they’re just sat twiddling their thumbs think again.

By extremely hard, do you mean, rifling through the over 30's at Stoke?

What do you want them to say? Alan Pace certainly doesn't give Corporate BS interviews in the bucket load. Give him a chance FFS.

They’ll probably be trying to sort their differences atm because they want completely different things from signings. Absolute disaster waiting to happen.

Both shopping in different areas
Pace wants young european guys with potential
Dyche wants Carroll

He’s not going to say anything but….

Newcastle activated his release clause so when that happens it’s out of the club’s hands. It’s just part of the game. I’m focused on getting the players I have ready and we are looking at how we can affect the market but it’s always difficult market to operate in.

Not much more he can say

Delaying tactics to sign somebody because we've run out of road until we do. Newcastle did the same. Why shouldn't we?

If there is anything to worry about it's what was said above; I don't think Dyche and Pace are on the same wavelength. I'm extremely dubious that Dyche drove the Cornet transfer. One of the more talented players we've had in a long time, yet we're planted in the bottom three.

Apart from multiple sources. And Dyche’s track record of signing past it players from Stoke and the Carroll link. If it was Dyche’s way we’d only sign Carroll and Defoe this month.

There is never any evidence in football for that sort of thing! Still, my gut feeling is that Dyche's transfer policy is being intruded on by the owners. Something doesn't seem right.

Our transfer dealings since our Europa experience has been on par with our form in the past 25 games. There is nothing to suggest an improvement in either area.Half way through the window with no hint of a signing, and the three key players signed last window have totalled around 11 PL starts. You reap what you sow in the PL

Multiple sources? Which are these really reliable sources?

You or I have no idea who Dyche or Pace want to sign this window. Nor whether there’s any disagreement. All twitter talk and we all know how much **** is spoken on there.

No PL club will sign a PL manager with one win in 25, and who manages a side thats doomed to go down. The same happened to Chris Wilder.Took a year to find a new club

Dyche going to Everton would get us out of a very sticky situation re compensation.

Unfortunately there is not a cat hell's chance of them looking twice.

Absolutely. Their fans are already angry at the tactics and football Rafa has brought, highly doubt the owners would be that stupid to hire another manager associated with poor football.

Dyche’s stock will be at its lowest since 2012/13. The general perception whether we like it or not is that he has not moved with the times. No PL club would want him. His best option would be a wallowing ‘biggish’ club in the Championship like the Florists or the Bluenoses

Just out of interest, when I hear “Dyche angry about Woods transfer”………is he angry with a player moving to a relegation rival basically showing no loyalty (not that there is any in football) and maybe reflecting an unhappy dressing room….

Or angry with Pace (can’t see how it’s his fault)…..

Or angry re Garlick……

Or……..just angry?

Think the more time Pace talks to Dyche he will realise that he has given a massive contract to someone that fundamentally does not agree with his own position. I much prefer Alan's idea of bringing in younger playing and playing more attractive football. Dyche might even walk with a few more sales like Wood, heres hoping.

Dyche would get a job in the Championship fairly easily you’d suspect, but there’s not a PL chairman who’d touch him, and rightly so.

Feel the same but unfortunately we are in the quiet minority. Most just want us to pay what teams ask for on players not worth the asking price just so we buy someone. Look at that Liverpool Phillips at £15m for example. He’s basically the Liverpool version of Paddy McNair.

I understand why people are twitchy given our place at the foot of the league, but panic buying is not the answer, and it's worth considering whoever we buy in this window will probably be at the club for 2-3 years, and also be earning during that period, what we need is quality not quantity, and to attain that desired quality we'll have to hold our nerve and possibly wait until the last few days of the window, when selling clubs might then be forced to lower their asking prices if they want guys off their books.

£15m for Phillips is ludicrous, and we nabbed Collins for less than that, not to mention his wages will no doubt be sky high.

Better to be patient, I believe it is considered a virtue.

Do people really believe that Dyche’s preference is for >30s players, or could it just be that that’s often all that is available to him with the resources he’s given?

And where is the evidence that he never wanted Cornet? After a short bedding-in period (which most new signings undergo) he’s started every time he’s been fit.

What I am confident about is that if SD felt for a minute that his Chairman was interfering in the management of the team, you wouldn’t see his arse for dust.

Some sh!te being talked on here indeed!…

I don't actually agree with what's being said here, but it's bloody funny!
