Oh dear. Never Mind
Oh dear. Never Mind
Revisited the Newcastle Forum.
First post I see.
£20m for Wood got to laugh, got about the same amount of movement as a plank of wood utterly hopeless

Blimey! I knew they were brutal up there. but even I didn't think they'd turn on him after 90 minutes.

Boos ringing around St James’ at the end. A few starting to turn on Howe.
When Howe goes Wood will never start for Newcastle again. Still, at least he won’t be in his comfort zone.

Oh I did.
Watched it on a stream which was bad.
But if that’s him outside his comfort zone trying his best, they will rip him to bits.

Re: Oh dear. Never Mind
Chris Wood has always been a really, really rubbish footballer but a good goals scorer.
When he doesn't score he looks absolutely rotten and wretched. Everything bounces off him and every move breaks down when it reaches him.
Newcastle are about to find that out and if we had anyone decent to come in and replace him I'd be wetting myself at their expense.

Re: Oh dear. Never Mind
If you read it further down , one fan says Wood won every aerial challenge but no other players backed him up . Just showing a balanced view . I like the fan who hopes the owner beheads them all !!!
Re: Oh dear. Never Mind
I love that he has replaced Ronaldo as the worlds most expensive 30 year old.
Re: Oh dear. Never Mind
If I was a Newcastle fan I’d be more concerned that they’ve employed a vastly overrated manager.

Re: Oh dear. Never Mind
I want he'd and it was Chris Wood's 2nd best game of the season. He actually put himself about a bit. Despite that his overall contribution was still underwhelming.

Re: Oh dear. Never Mind
Didn't Wood say he went there because he wanted to feel wanted ?

Get over it he's gone
Re: Oh dear. Never Mind
Didn't take them long, and he's not in his "comfort zone" yet....

Re: Oh dear. Never Mind
Just imagine if he misses 5 absolute sitters last game of the season and we stay up, that would be absolutely the perfect ending.

Re: Oh dear. Never Mind
He’s always been a lump of a footballer but has until this season produced the goods for us.
If he isn’t scoring he looks worse than a Sunday League pisshead.

Re: Oh dear. Never Mind
Perfect would be 5 mins into stoppage time he scores the goal that would save Newcastle… but what is this… VAR review… 5 mins pass… Geordies still celebrating… oh no he is offside… never mind. Sit down shut up.

Re: Oh dear. Never Mind
We’ve really got the best end of this deal. Sadly the Geoaudis can afford to chuck £20m+ down the drain
