I've used Windows for sixteen years or so and, not surprisingly, I'm still learning more ways of doing things. Today I learned this:
If on your keyboard you press the Windows Logo key plus a number you open one of the programmes on your taskbar. For example, on my taskbar the first icon is for Mail, so pressing the Windows Logo key and '1' and Mail opens.
Of course you can also use your mouse and left click on the icon.
