I'll take the full context. But thanks. Try harder da. You're like a poor man's Adrian Durham.
You can take what you want sugar but the comment I was responding to only stated the google search was for the injury and not the ready made replacement hence me highlighting both examples of the injury's apparently searched for

If you're gonna try and be clever you're gonna need at least a few braincells otherwise you just look like a prize plum

imagine this scenario, we sign 2 or 3 players, somehow magically win all the re-arranged games with the new players all playing and we relegate Newcastle - does anyone think, the Saudi's (with more money than the PL) aren't going to take it all to court ?

how can that be the right decision, or has the Premier League caved in to the comments from other PL managers and pundits, making BFC the victoms??

So surely they can make that decision quickly……..or do they have to ring Klop et al for their approval.

Can’t see how they can say “no” because if they do, it’s clear they’ve just gone enough is enough but we’ll make a club who hopefully won’t be a pain in our arse next season to be the “example”.

No one likes us, we don’t care! If true, let’s hope, that whatever team we put out is really up for it against a Watford team who will expect to walk it. Stranger things have happened!

Saw a quote earlier (from dyche I think) that said if the say we have to play we accept the challenge......
Surly we are applying for this to be postponed within the epl guidelines. Why would we accept it if the rejected our request if we meet the guidelines. Weird.

Must be “happy hour” in the local champagne bar……..or maybe they’re awaiting a call from the Saudi,s to weigh up just how painful the retribution could be if the “wrong decision” is made…..

October 1968....dreadful form, lost 4.0 at home on the previous Saturday, lots of players out injured, threw in the youngsters for a Tuesday night game vs WHU...won 3.1 then won the next seven......could history repeat itself? Well I can dream can't I?

Doubt there is a right of appeal. If we are told to play we will have to play the match or preumably forfeit it.

If game is on, we need that 12th man in the stands behind the team for the full 90 mins, and let's send Watford packing.......UTC

In theory the PL have to judge it on the submitted 25 man squad plus any other youngsters who have played this season (we have none). 13 outfield players is the cutoff.

I note the PL website has Dodgson in our official squad who is playing currently for the U23s right now. It would seem a bit harsh if we ended up being forced to play due to a player who hasn’t had a minute in the PL yet and played only 24 hours earlier. I thus hope we don’t have 12 senior outfield names deemed by the PL fit to play.

(I do expect it to be off though)

Maybe just maybe being forced to play tomorrow would really get the Turf behind the lads. A win those circumstances could be a turning point in a crap season.

10 fit players according to SD.

I agree once we know we are playing fine. But I cant see our appeal not meeting the criteria (I feel we are by the book a little too often)....but being made to play if we do meet criteria then noise needs to be made.

Are you sure about that Spijed, at this rate we'll be lucky to play again in January.

The whole thing is getting crazier by the day, but the PL opened the can of worms, and now it's going to be difficult for them to close it again.

It will not be easy to decide if game goes ahead
1 We have 10 first team players ( 3 may be goalkeepers)
2 Players with covid can’t be named publicly as that would contravene Players protection
3 If 4 available include Mee Tarks Collins and Long , then one would have to play out of position or Long would be on bench.
4 Therefore as no one on this thread know the situation it is difficult to comment

We have to accept the desision if froced to play as a waekend team playing and losing to watford would not be as bad as the points diffenec if we refused to play curently 3 points differenc play and lose 6 pts refuse to play 8 pt difference and plus 20 goals to watford

Seeing lots of social media posts insisting on us forfeiting the game and we should just get on with it. Happy to do that as long as they back date every game postponed for covid - we’d have 9 more points and only “loss” would be the Leicester game - which is probably realistic right…?

Other teams fans don’t realise we haven’t cancelled 5 games - go figure eh…

I find it rather worrying that they’re taking so long to make a decision, it’s almost as if they’re trying to find a reason to make us play the fixture. Wonder if they’ve been influenced by tuchel and klopps recent comments.

From our application to now, to be fair, it is a long time.

Surely this must form part of a day to day type meeting as part of business of the PL?

Who sits on these panels?

What evidence is presented?

So we all know from the results this season that we've not been good enough on the pitch. Now we're not even good enough to actually step onto the pitch.

It is not impossible for us to put a team out - whether that's u20-whatevers or senior players. It is a disgrace that we want another game postponed. Just like Saturday was a disgrace too. When will we see our team again? When will we stop being scared to go onto the pitch?
Possibly the most ridiculous misguided post I’ve ever read on here ( and that’s saying something ) Do you seriously ,genuinely think the club would seek postponements for 2 home games and very winnable too, when we’re stone bottom and could be totally cut adrift by mid Feb. If we had an even relatively competitive side we’d be out there .

If it’s on, then the Premier League will seemingly have brought the game into disrepute, based on Arsenal’s declared numbers?
