That’s harsh
I don’t care how harsh it is or how well they are playing. I want them to lose.

Fair play to Leeds, half their team missing, bench full of youngsters and deliver a performance like that. Definitely 3 from 4 now at the bottom if it wasn’t already.

Well according to you relegation is now sorted isn't it as Newcastle will suddenly discover Champions league form to get to safety?

Remember, it's one thing talking about Leeds, but Newcastle have a completely different manager and style from when Bruce was in charge. How can you say they won't go down when the players they have were basically bought for a more pragmatic way of football which is completely alien to the way Howe plays.

They might stop up, but unless Eddie Howe learns how to defend it won't be as easy as you think. They were cut open quite easily by Watford yesterday, and apart from Wilson it was a full strength side, wasn't it?

I’ll remind you at the time later on, Newcastle haven’t finished spending yet, you was wrong about Leeds & you will be about Newcastle. Newcastle don’t need to discover champions league form unless Norwich/Watford/us do, they simply need to finish above that 3 job done.

If they replace Howe then I suspect you might be correct, but is he capable of getting enough out of the side that, like us, is struggling for confidence?

Spending money contradicts your very own argument when you said yourself that with Fulham, getting all those new players were no guarantee of surviving in the Prem, especially as many new faces in a side can disrupt even further what's already there.

It's how they gel together and if ASM picks up another injury can they suddenly find another player that fits into the way Eddie Howe wants to play?

It may well work, but when Newcastle survived last year it was because Wilson and ASM played well and got them out of trouble, along with Bruce who knew how to grind our results - something that's unlikely to happen this time, especially as they have a completely different manager in terms of style.

He kept a pretty average Bournemouth team in the league for 4 seasons didn’t he?

Like SD, he developed his system over a number of seasons which meant the players were used to his managerial methods.

While it may work with this Newcastle side, many of the players seem to be grafters and the key question will be can he get them to play in a style he wants them to?

As the season draws to a close and pressure mounts he'll surely need to tighten up the defence as I can't see Newcastle creating too many opportunities per game.

Newcastle, although laughably bad at the minute (however they still comfortably out played us) will surely strengthen even more this month, so should have enough about them to stay up - even with Eddie “I can’t organise a defence to save my life” Howe in charge.

We’re up **** creek without a paddle. Just have to hope that ******* Rovers implode.

Leeds so far have played Antonio very well. I wish we could cope with him as well.
Ben Mee did only a month ago. As my Auntie Alice used to say, "Eaten meat soon forgotten".
