Next time you’re on the Turf, have a wander round. Within half a mile you can reach Queens Park, Thompson Park, Towneley Park and Hall and Rowley. All beautiful. Can you say anything similar about Blackburn?
I can also wander round burnley Wood, stoneyholme etc etc
Witton Park is far better than those mentioned, corporation park is similar, as is roe Lee park
As I sit writing this I can see nothing but open fields, but within a 5 minute drive I can be in some of the biggest dumps around here
I found burnley to be similar to the above, only smaller, which was my initial point. Similar, but one's bigger than the other.

You’re missing my point, which was that within half a mile of the Turf, there are several surprisingly beautiful areas and the same cannot be said for Blackburn. Also, stoneyholme is not within half a mile of the Turf. I’m glad you’re happy living in Blackburn, but I know which one I prefer.

We are ignoring the now deceased radicalised Blackburn nutter now, and just discussing the merits of our respective towns?

two more arrested in S. Manchester, investigation going to Pakistan, this could have more serious undertones if he was groomed, seems a little more to it than just a lone gunman with mental illness, I'd prefer it was just him but we'll see.

If you are going off football grounds there's some stunning countryside within half a mile of Ewood Park.

Who would've thought that calling Burnley a dump on a Burnley forum would upset people?

Don’t think he’s been groomed, 20 years ago he and his brothers were wannabe gangster drug dealers, always in Court for various offences. He had a self induced drug psychosis many years ago, turned to religion, and hasn’t looked back since.

In the 2022 I live here survey.

Blackburn was 15th and Burnley 25th crappiest to live in this Country.

So Blackburn is therefore a bigger dump, nah nana nah

To be fair, some of the most well known extremists have similar behaviour patterns from their youth, of drug abuse and criminal behaviour before mysteriously finding Allah and then becoming extremists, Anjem Choudary being an example and he was recently campaigning for the release of the woman that the man from Blackburn was also trying to get released.
