U-23 Wolves v Burnley
There is a U-23 game at Aggborough, Kidderminster at 7pm this evening. It is streamed via Wolves YouTube channel.
Re: U-23 Wolves v Burnley
This won't go ahead, we'll need most of the u23s to play tommorrow

What a confusing comment!Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Mon Jan 17, 2022 10:41 amJust look at the cup game.
Dyche and dinosaur Woan would rather call the game off/forfeit than play the u23s.
Re: U-23 Wolves v Burnley
Is it on youtube as I had a look but couldn't find it?

It might be helpful if someone could post the link at kick off.

Judging by their previous U23 live videos, they tend to start about 5 minutes before kick-off
Re: U-23 Wolves v Burnley
Seems weird playing this game if Watford game is off ??

We’ve only got ten players though.

That should be enough to get the 3 points!

And Villa sent their u23s to Sunderland on the night before we were due to play them although it was postponed in the end due to the weather.Backofthenet wrote: ↑Mon Jan 17, 2022 5:52 pmArsenal played an under 23 game on Friday night, whilst they were asking for spurs game to be off

Strong u23 team out again.
Game must be called off tomorrow 100% otherwise I doubt a few of them would be playing

Re: U-23 Wolves v Burnley
Tosin Olopade is the young lad I exclusively revealed back in early November had signed a three year contract with us. It's a signing of a young player that's never, even now, been confirmed by the club.
I don't know who Hughes is.

Re: U-23 Wolves v Burnley
Really don't understand this.
I was trying to think of who might be called up for tomorrow if need be. Bobby Thomas, Owen Dodgson, Mark Helm and Joe McGlynn were on the bench against Huddersfield and they would surely be involved tomorrow one way or other. Bobby Thomas isn't playing at Wolves but the other three are.
Who knows?

Re: U-23 Wolves v Burnley
Unless we've been told the games called off tomorrow this seems very strange to be fielding some of those players.
Re: U-23 Wolves v Burnley
Maybe we are playing some of them to then make them unavailable to play tomorrow?

Re: U-23 Wolves v Burnley
The fact is there are no clear rules. The PL have failed to deal with this properly and it's now a right mess.

Lovely flick across the goal by McGlynn but we couldn’t turn it in

Helm shows real flashes of brilliance. Just his last pass sometimes let’s him down.

Who is in charge on the touchline for us?
Internet still saying Stone but as he’s now with first team I can't think he’s wearing two hats.

Not under 23s but seen a way to watch the Youth Cup game against Liverpool tomorrow night.
It will be on LFCTV and you can get a month subscription for free, watch the game, then cancel the subscription on the link below:

Re: U-23 Wolves v Burnley
I may be wrong, and I'm not trying to speak for Leisure, but I think he means that by playing the young uns tonight they can't be considered for selection for the first team tomorrow.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Mon Jan 17, 2022 6:44 pmThere are some rules regarding bubbles that didn't apply to the FA Cup
Unless they can. I don't know the rules!
