My great grandads brother used to drink B&B after a meal said it made sure it stayed down, said he learnt to drink it if france when they were having day off from the trenches (B&B was Brandy and Bene) not sure if it did make things stay down as when ever he went in a pub in the 60s he would drink 4 or5 of these along side 2 pints of guinness .

Rowls your not wrong, Ive drunk sufficent quantitys to sink a ship and some times have felt that i may have leant over the side too. Ive also discovered that if you drink large quantitys of Guiness in Ireland you develop a stange walk with feet standing wider and moving with more of a rolling gate than normal walikng
