His abilities dont seem up to the Premier League? Guess hes just been lucky these past six or seven seasons then. How do you think an exalted one like Klopp or Mourinho woulsd cope with the transfer budget hes had over the past 3 or 4 seasons? I think I know. During his time here, the club had bought from the lower dovisions and generally bought well. How many players from the lower divsions have the the exalted ones bought?
To be fair Mourinho won the champions league whilst at Porto and Klopp took Mainz from the second division and got them promoted to the first division for the first time ever, he then got them into the UEFA super cup.

No comparison, Moyes did excellent at Everton, and in hindsight did an ok job at utd.
Isn't keeping a club in the PL for six consecutive seasons on a very limited budget an excellent over-achievement?

How many other managers do you think could achieve that?

I'd say none, otherwise they'd already be doing it.

It’s a fair comment, but how many clubs are even in our position? Most want to spend money and play attractive football. For example Newcastle/palace had better seasons than us last year and both managers were hounded out for the style of football they play.

Sean Dyche is no quitter. He has been loyal to us and he is King of his Castle.

We've had the Judas back-stabbers and Sean is not one of those. He's here for the long haul and long may he reign!

I wouldn’t say Roy hodgson was hounded out he retired & has since stayed retired the blokes in his 70s for crying out aloud, the fans weren’t that excited about the style of football at SP though & regarding bruce you’ve got more of a case he was never liked due to his Sunderland connections so he was on a hiding to nothing in some respects.

stunning that this thread gets to post 54 before anybody brings up Dyche's character. Regardless of whether Everton had an interest or not, I do not see the man leaving with BFC languishing where it is. He would not want that as a blemish on how he sees himself, never mind how others see him

I can’t see Everton’s owners taking Robbie Savage’s advice somehow
