I’d be very surprised - He now lives abroad with his girlfriend and is expecting his first child.
Good lad, good digital creator but I doubt very much it’ll be a day to day job or UK based.
Always at away games until last season

I expect it to be something eSport related, they seen to be pushing it a lot more - even bringing out a shirt for it

Re: Vizeh
Don’t need to be in the UK for digital roles.
He’s amassed 3x Burnley FC’s YouTube subscribers off his own back so presumably knows a bit about social media and content creation that the club can take advantage of.
Good move, doing this & getting Jordan North more involved in the club in my opinion.

Been interesting to see how long this character would last on 12 hour nights in a slipper mill.

Re: Vizeh
If you are getting paid more money, and a better lifestyle abroad doing what he does, why the **** would you want to work 12 hour nights in a slippermill? I have never understood this mentality, as if slogging your guts out in a miserable as **** job is somehow a more honourable way of earning coin. As long as he isn’t sponging from the state, what’s the issue?helmclaret wrote: ↑Wed Jan 26, 2022 3:30 pmBeen interesting to see how long this character would last on 12 hour nights in a slipper mill.

Re: Vizeh
Strange comment. As a young Burnley fan who doesn't live in Burnley, watching his vlogs a few years ago when I was in my teens was a great way for me to feel excited about the matches and really feel like I knew what it was like to be there.helmclaret wrote: ↑Wed Jan 26, 2022 3:30 pmBeen interesting to see how long this character would last on 12 hour nights in a slipper mill.

At that time he was doing it purely out of enjoyment and love for his club and football, and the huge fan base that he's built since then always comment how watching and following his videos has made many of them care/understand/respect Burnley FC more.
He seems like a lovely young man who has made a living out of loving football (and loving Burnley of all teams!) and is a great Burnley fan to have - your disapproval at his "not a proper job" is bizarre

I couldn’t do what he does, I’d prefer to watch Burnley games without holding a phone up throughout the match
That said, I’m not interested in fan content in general, podcasts and so on.

You were lucky.
I had a mate whose dad worked at Belling(s) and if, for any reason, he didn't take his full whack of holidays, he'd give them up as long as he could work in a different part of the factory, proclaiming that "A change is as good as a rest."
Crackers as is the irrelevant, envious comment re Vizeh not being able to work in a slipper mill...I mean, come on, who'd the **** would want to do that anyway ?

Maybe not recently since he moved abroad but when he was at Uni in Newcastle he used to travel to away games with Accy Clarets, so he certainly did attend away games regularly.

Re: Vizeh
Has talked quite a bit about his mental health problems, being bullied as a kid and the loss of his mum. Also raised awareness and money for charity with streams.
The FIFA card games aren't my cup of tea (I'm more of a PES fan) but he has found an area of sheer popularity and done well for it. He has a young audience who I'm sure he's helped and 'influenced' as they say.
He's also a very passionate fan as seen in his vlogs of games. Some on here refer to modern football being drab, be he was anything but at games, starting chants and helping chants along etc.
I'm sure he'll come back to the UK at some point.
Interested to see what role he has at the club!

Re: Vizeh
I’ve watched bits from his videos. His communication style just grinds my gears. It’s like listening to Jonathan Ross at double speed.
I watch quite a bit of BFC content on the official feeds. I’ll probably watch less if he is used in a presenting role, but maybe I’m not the target audience.

I was contacted for the role too, ag, but being under contract with Aldi’s social media team until 2027, I was unable to relinquish my role

I suspect he will be brought in to help attract young fans between the ages of 5-16. If it works then it’s a great idea

Agreed. I suppose anybody who can raise the profile of the club to different age groups can't be a bad thing.Newcastleclaret93 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 26, 2022 6:05 pmI suspect he will be brought in to help attract young fans between the ages of 5-16. If it works then it’s a great idea

In what way?helmclaret wrote: ↑Wed Jan 26, 2022 3:54 pmProbably wouldn't recognise hard work if it slapped him in his face.
He's had to learn all about video editing, finding a niche market, blogging/vlogging, working social media, maintaining a certain number of appearances with decent content to ensure his audience returns, pay any taxes due in his income etc.
Then he's been in Poland, playing football and from what I've seen helping to build some homes? and raising awareness from it.
He's got a bigger audience on social media than many football clubs and that does take some work to do.
Inbetween all of that he's settled down and had a kid.
You might not like what he does for a job, but to suggest it isn't hard work is just daft
